Megatron's alt mode in ROTF

Are the rumors of him transforming into a tank true? Does he stick with the jet?
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

Yes he turns into a tank now however in the movie novel he still can also turn into a jet we'll havta see if this is true but judgeing from all the concept images and the toy he will most likley turn into a tank.

maybe we haven't seen footage of him in alt mode yet only the concept art and toys. But I would assume he's either a triple changer or a tank. I don't see why he'de need tred feet if he was only a jet anyway.

Yeah, in the novel he's a triplechanger, transforming into a tank only once, and then into his jet mode once when he attacks Prime. Otherwise, he's in robot mode.

I agree, or they will put it out mid summer? Who knows I would guess they would release that toy for the 3rd movie.

Well if you think back to G1 he was always in Robot mode it was very rare to see him as a P-38. Basically when fighting the Bots or something. Also in the movie a alien looking tank/jet doesn't really hide that well. So running around in Robot form would make a lot of sense.
All in all though Megs as a triple changer is badass.

He had two forms in TF Cybertron too.
He was mostly a jet in that show, but when he go to Overrides homeworld, the Racing planet, he suddenly turned into a car and raced her.

In the PS2 version of RoTF, any time hes flying it shows him in robot mode heh. They never show him flying as a tank , just like how the movie seemed never show a good view of him flying from the front as it. Megatron turns into a tank in the game, but it has no signs of being able to fly. (though you only transform to use your special attacks in the PS2 game that hit the whole room or for special vechile based parts.) Im not sure if the how the next gen versions on PS3 and 360 dealt with it, but they just avoided the issue by him flying in robot mode like in G1.

Siren Prime, I feel I have to correct you. Megatron/Galvatron was a racecar/jet in TF Cybertron. He was just a straight jet in Energon.
BTW I myself was curious as to Megatron's alt modes. In the comic adaption, he has his ROTF robot mode but still transforms into his jet form from the first movie. Only near the end during the egypt battle does he become a tank. The voyager toy though is closer to the movie model than the leader. Megatron becomes a tank that can fly.
