Megatron's spiked ball and chain weapon

Postby mikedude » Sat Oct 20, 2007 12:20 am

Am I seeing things or did megs use his spiked ball and chain at the end of the movie on top of the building? It would make sense, since optimus used that glowing blade to behead bonecrusher. Both optimus and megs used gladiator like weapons in this episode of the cartoon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj5IPxZ6zTg

It's well known that the movie versions use their G1 mêlée weapons.

It was a nod to the G1 fans, obviously.

Except for slight differences... In G1, both were energy weapons, while in the Movie, both were physical objects.

While Megs used a spiked ball and chain, and that was his g1 melee weapon of choice (sometimes).. Prime's was a sword in the film. but what was the weapon on Sherman Dam? NOPE... it was in fact an Axe.

Comes with 20th anniversary Prime as well.

thanks.

If you watch when Megs first breaks out of the ice, he holds his hand up and his hand transforms into the mace, then he takes his left hand and pulls the mace and chain out of his wrist and starts swinging it around and breaking the catwalks.

There's alot in that movie that you don't notice until you've seen it over and over.

Like Jazz spinning and kicking the gun off of Brawls forearm.

Optimus' sword looks like it's an energy sword...It has an orange color... I don't know might be part energy and part metal.
