I happen to enjoy this corner, thank you very much :] *dons a monocole and sips his fancy wine* nommers... I do say...
(also I love the irony of the comment, coming from some one with the title "god of Transformers" oh the lulz)

You know, your first paragraph made me chuckle.
Your second paragraph however is pretty retarded as it's a site generated title based on post count and is in no way a reflection on the poster mini-con boy.

I'd laugh if any of the fake scripts turned out to be better than the real one.

I never said it was a self-proclaimed title. I'm aware of the post number "heirarchy" Its just that, when not considering how names are dealt out, its still just a silly example of irony.

Well, for starters, Arcee (AKA politically correct-bot) was removed. Soundwave was removed untill he could be done "right" instead of used as cannon fodder like Blackout & Frenzy were, Peter Cullen was made Prime, Megatron's head was redone & no longer looks like a constipated gorilla.....The Paragon of Virtue wrote:Nemesis Cyberplex wrote:But this whole thing reeks of, "Even though the fans were right on a lot of points on the first movie & the changes made it even better..."
How many of the changes made were to the script?
Yeah, fan input made a significant impact on the first movie.

"But they said they listened to the fans about Cullen". Yeah, sure they did. Can we say "propaganda"?

Besides if he wanted to mislead us why go into an interview and say I will purposely mislead the fans, doesn't that defeat the whole purpose? What a Jackass.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Being on the internet has nothing to do with the quality of the written piece; anybody can upload any writing to the internet. The problem is publishing or distributing a work without the owner's consent is an infringement of rights.

This whole post just reeks of ignorance. The part that I bolded especially goes to show that you don't know what the real issues are.
When are people going to let their "Hatred" for Bay stop clouding their judgement and realize that waht he is intending to do is nothing new.

I'll accept the first two, especially Arcee, as possibilities.
The other two weren't script changes. I wasn't asking about fan influence in general; I couldn't think of what things may have been changed in the actual script.

If you hate the movie so much and all that Bay did to it, why do you have barricades panel as your avatar when that itself represents a portion of what you hate?
And frankly since you freely admit to watching a pirated version and not even have the balls to shell out ten dollars to see a movie about a franchise that you care about your opinion really means ****. You say he has pissed off alot of people but I can guarantee that he has made more fans of transformers that you say he pissed off.

You have no idea what the "stupid" writer's strike is about do you? They're on strike because they want to get properly compensated for their work. They only recieve 4% from DVD sales and absolutely no money from new media, such as downloads from places like itunes or when a show is available to be seen on a broadcaster's website.
Look at a show like The Office for example. If you watch it online, it is broken down into about 4 or 5 segments. Before each segment runs, 2 commercials are aired and one of the sponser's logos are seen onscreen during the entire segment, even if you are watching the show in "full screen" mode. Obviously NBC is selling ad time and making money from those episodes, but the writers don't see any money from that, although the producers do. The way they get around paying the writers is that they consider it a promotional viewing and lump it in to the same category as a commercial. NBC also asked the writers to create a webisode exclusive for the NBC website which starred several cast members. NBC sold air time for it and they even won a daytime Emmy, but they still have yet to compensate the writers for that work. That's just one example out of many different shows that don't compensate the writers for their contributions.
Producers on the other hand, recieve a larger cut of DVD sales, and are paid for digital content. They are arguing with the writer's guild that there isn't enough of a profit to share with them and if they did, it would set a precedence for the Directors and Actors guild to ask for a cut as well.
How would you feel if you came up with a way for the company you work for to increase profits? Let's say they earned an aditional 35 million dollars, but they didn't compensate you for your idea and didn't even give you a small portion of that 35 million. If it weren't for you, they wouldn't have made that extra 35 million. Now let's say they did give the executives a portion of that money. Would it be stupid to go on strike for that?
I think all the writers are asking for is 8 cents for every DVD sale and 2.5% for digital downloads and online content. That doesn't seem like a lot, especially since these are the people creating the stories these movies and shows are based on.
In the end, the writer's strike isn't going to delay TF2 any more than the CGI will. Honestly, it isn't unreasonable to expect a 2009 release just due to all the CGI work alone.

No, what he is saying is "I want people to not know every damn little nuance that my movie is going to have. I want there to be some surprises."

I was going to mention that about the Barricade avatar too (lol), but I do share Code3's hatred for the film. And honestly, although I rushed out and paid the ticket fee to see it on opening day, I wish I hadn't -- that extra $10 could've gone towards Jungle Bonecrusher or a FAB repaint.
So really I could care less if Michael Bay wastes his time trying to mislead the fanbase or not, since this is the last time I waste my time and money on one of his crappy movies.
