These movies make it work successfully end up enhancing the visuals rather than stick their fingers out of the screen to pull off some dumb effect to please the audience. Now let's look at the recent film, Tron: Legacy. This might of been the best movie Ive ever seen in 3D. There was not once were I felt it was a cheap trick. The 3D enhanced the environment of the grid, and in some of the beginning scenes it actually felt like I was on a ride at a Disney park. Now that is a great example of how, and what movies 3D should be in, and I think Transformers would be a great movie for 3D if it is used correctly. Having fun while watching a movie in the theatres is a great perk to some movies' credit, and I think Transformers whould be a great example of this. I can picture gears, springs, cogs, nuts, bolts and bent metal flying out into the audience during a fight scene, or sparks flying out in the crowd. There are a lot of cool things that can be produced in 3D in this film that I would love to see. Given they don't overuse it of course. Not to mention, how lifelike the Transformers would look showcast in a 3D environment like how Tron made it look. That is a movie I would see dozens of times.
