I believe the srtike is a writers guild strike, so where is it that he is not standing by his fellow filmmakers during a strike. He wants to do another movie in between now and may, I dont see a problem with it because like he has said and from the lack of news that paramount/dreamworks is most likely dragging their feet. No writers to write movies= no movie to direct means no paychecks for any directors while the strike is ongoing, and then however long it takes for hollywood to ramp back up production. The reason they are trying to crank out so many movies by may is because 1. they dont know how long it will last if it does happen, and 2. when they do go back to work it will still be a decent period of time before anything gets developed.
I just love it when something about bay comes out and with it out comes all of the "haters" that just want to talk **** just so they can say they talked **** about bay. Now I am not referencing those that have expressed their dislike for him or his movie style from day one (you know who you are) but rather the people that pop out of nowhere and proclaim blind hatred for no apparent reason other than at this point in time its the trendy thing to do.
