now youre thinking. they went on a recon mission many years ago, landed on earth, scanned dinos, fell into a tar pit or something (or froze like megs), were found and reawakened, and they stay in their dino modes just long enough to show how cool the CGI transformation is before scanning newer earth Alts.... best of both worlds...

That sounds cool! I wouldn't mind seeing the Dinobots as triple-changers! Especially Swoop. A pteranodon/robot/fighter jet.

I can see dinobots if well they dont have the skin of a dinosaur but just like the show and comic and have them as metal dinosaurs but i dont this movie to turn into beastwars

It would probably be a financial flop, but I would love to see a feature Beast Wars movie. Especially with the SFX technology available now. Beast Wars movie would be sweetness!

Noo he just hates the Dinobots! Which in honesty I do too, I never saw the point in them G1 or otherwise, they were stupid and annoying. Sorry to all those who like them though... I honestly can't class the Dinobots in the same league as the other Transformers, even Beast wars was in a different higher standard of Transformer and I hope no future movie incorporates them in any way.

If I had my way iwth the films,I'd make the Dinobots have a very metallic skeletal structure as their Dino modes and add a bit if the Pretender element to them by givine them artificial skin they can tear off of to transform. And should they go from robot to dinos,they can easily replace the skin them foam out the synthetic skin and have it mold to their respective dinosaur modes.

Ok if he was going for realism here then having dinobots walking around our fair streets would be just a tad strange. Don't get me wrong I love the Dinobots (SNARL) but I think it would've killed the story by bringing them in. Great choice keeping them out.

As soon as I saw the Allspark shifting mass,all realism and credibility went to Hell. And that's just the first film. Don't get me started on the sequel. The fact is,with the crazy stuff they're pulling now with the Mechtech weapons in the film,our suspension of disbelief can only go so far and we'd be cheated out of classic G1 transformers like Astrotrain(I'd love to see Bay try to pull that one) and Tidal Wave.

I like Marvel Dinobots, and I really hope Bay keeps them out of the film simply because I dont' want any more embarrssment levelled upon the mythos.
But with the matrix fairy dust, the fallen, that thing with the steel balls and the twins, why would he start caring about coherrent story line now? Robot dinosaurs, I don't think people would question the how after what we've seen in the last film.
I'm still quitely hopeful DOTM isn't a debacle like ROTF.

i wouldnt mind dino bots in the movie
