AHEM.
*glare*
Oh...****...
Unless, of course, you meant that the whole like...the Twins got more screen time/character development than Chicken-legs, in which case, yeah.
HK, mock not the Dorito!
Yeah, actually, that's what I meant. He's an iconic character, who's helped shaped the storyline of many a series. Yet, in the first film he had 2 lines, and in the second, he was a babysitter and he acted like he had a bad chewing tobacco habit. Total waste of a good character. Rivals with the total waste of Devastator and the name Jetfire.
And yes, he is a Dorito. Nacho cheese. Seriously, his robot mode design sucks.
Hey hey, it's been two years. Aren't we supposed to have forgotten that we didn't like ROTF and pretend our complaints are invalid?
Seriously though, I just stopped by to post a toy haul and felt morally obligated to share this story:
Saw the Adjustment Bureau today with my girlfriend and a trailer for DOTM came up. The couple behind us was heard to remark that this one "will hopefully be better than the last one," that ROTF was "too confusing" and "hard to follow along with because it was so blurry and stuff," and that they "didn't even know they [the Transformers] were aliens" because "things were really badly explained," and that a movie about giant robots "shouldn't have so many people in it."
Clearly, if they we unclear that the TFs are aliens, it is probably safe to say they were not long time TF fans, but mayhaps were rather part of that 'target audience' that is used to cry basement dweller at those who dare not love ROTF. And obviously, their opinion means nothing because ROTF is the greatest film ever, but it caused me a chuckle.
Adjustment Bureau was so-so.
But the real trialors for DOTM with Chicago and stuff, those look good to me.
