well in the first movie i actually thought she was kinda ok. specially the part where she was looking at bbs engine and we could see her stomach. i like hard stomachs like that. but in the sec one she has fake lips and a couple other facial things that just make her look like the bride of frankenstien. plus rosie looks like a way better actress and just seems to have a little better attitude.

I understand it's not the same everywhere in the world (in some countries, she could have been put to death for saying what she said, let alone even havin the right to speak out since she is a woman), but in this case she is a U.S. Citizen, it did take place in the U.S., so there for, U.S. rules/laws take affect.

In this case, there were no free speech rights violated. One thing many seem to forget is that they want the right to say whatever they want, but they don't feel that they should have to suffer the possible consequences that can come with it. Its like that saying..

Was she arrested? was she thrown in jail? No. Was she fired? Yes, because having a job is not a right. Its a privilege enstoyed by your employer.

You have the "right" to do alot in the United States and many other countries. But that doesn't necessarily mean that you "should" be doing it. And if you do, good or bad, be prepared to accept the consequences for exercising those rights.

I fully accept that. However, was speilberg her employer? Or was she sub-contracted in?

I want to say (but don't quote me) that the producer is higher up on the totem pole than the director, which means that Spielburg would have the right to fire her. Plus in Hollywood Spielburg carries alot of influence. Bay considered it a personal honor when he got Spielburg to say "F*** me!" when he saw Devestator's transformation sequence after all. :P

It's probably a lie. Bay is a chronic liar, Spielberg may be going along with it only to try to direct attention away from the director on the matter, improve the overall image of the film as they've been continuously trying to do since peoples opinion of Bay fell after ROTF. Either way, I do not care, they just traded one botox bimbo for another.

Actually, that's disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace, whatever you want to call it. And if you scream it at someone (sometimes if someone of ethnicity so much as hears it) it is a hate crime. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty certain this is the case.

Not that your point doesn't hold validity, she did indeed have the right to say what she said. I just brought it up because those particular laws erk me since that (even though I would never do any of those things) it is another obstruction of free speech.

Oh, one more thing to add to the list...and this is a HUGE big bad...

Nelson mentioned that she was invited by King Abdullah II and his wife, Queen Rania of Jordan...to come to a dinner that was prepared just for her and she flat out rudely turned them down.

Mind you, these are the people that helped get ROTF filmed in Egypt and it's surrounding landmarks and she shot down their offer to entertain her.

A KING! And the dude's cool! He filmed a cameo on one of the Star Treks! Dude's a sci-fi fan and she's in a sci-fi movie, so this was like a big deal to him.

The more this laundry list of offenses comes out, the less and less I see a problem with Spielberg firing her. You cap it off with calling someone Hitler in front on the set of a Jewish production, you've pulled out all the stops and pushed your bosses to their breaking point.

When are people going to realize this isn't PC, free speech, any of that? This is simply "You continually screwed up, you were rude to us when we gave you several chances, and you were insensitive. You ARE the weakest link, goodbye!"

I'm not trying to be mean to her, I'm really not. I'm pointing out where she screwed up. Does anyone remember when she was compared to Angelina Jolie and shot that down? Also offensively, I might add?

She was given far more than she deserved. When we little people do this kind of stuff at our jobs, we're reprimanded and/or fired if we don't get our acts together. Why is she any different? They tried to work with her and she was unmanageable.

Lay off Spielberg. He had enough. They all did. When I hear what Spielberg did, this comes to mind:

To be fair Bay is a chronic liar to us, the Transformers fans, to try and contain spoilers about the films he knows we'll try to dig up. Just look at what happened with DotM. And Bay's never cared what critics think of him, having admitted he makes films for the audience first and formost. While is "apologies" about RotF were fuled by critical opinion, it was Hasbro pushing that agenda. Audiences (the vast majority of them) see nothing to apologize for.

What I'm trying to say is basically that Fox screwed up and got fired for being an air headed b**** to her coworkers and boss. There's no kind of image saving conspiracy at play here.

For those who still insist on using the "Freedom of speech" argument, last I checked that didn't save you from "defamation of character" lawsuits, which is what they could have slapped on her instead of giving her the boot and burying her career.

Well this is just a terrible first post. I sure as hell didn't go see the movies because of Megan Fox, in fact I thought the movies could use a little less of her. She's not that hot, I've seen women who are both massively more attractive AND much better actresses than her.

I can't believe no one has commented on this post yet! And if they have, I missed it and i'm sorry. PLEASE use correct punctuation and spelling, especially if you are going to make a point (all be it a grossly moronic one), and if you expect people to take you somewhat seriously!

He did not fire her because she would not dress "sexy". That's just epic-ly stupid! She was fired because she is a "no-talent egotistical hooker who needs botox to make her look even more like an Angelina Jolie big lip after-birth victim". You can quote me on that! You may think she is hot, but I think she is ugly as sin just because she is a spoiled little daddy's girl with OBVIOUS deep rooted "daddy issues", AND she has a "ME" complex unlike most Hollywood A-list actors with triple her acting talent. She opens her mouth when she should keep it closed, she bites the hand that feeds, and now she has nothing! Jonah Hex was an epic failure (in my opinion), and that was supposed to be her "redemption attempt" movie.

Michael Bay will do just fine without your money. So by all means, stay home and watch your MEGAN FOX fan fiction. That way, it will make room in the theater seats for people who actually want to see the movie for one simple reason.....BECAUSE WE ARE TRANSFORMER FANS!!!!!!! The collective has spoken. :BOT: :CON:

Good day, sir. I SAID GOOD DAY!

And this is a good first post! It's like the opposite if the last post I quoted in every way. Good job on that.

I disagree, both are terrible first posts, just like I expect from the movie forum and this thread in particular. Just because you agree with someone's opinion does not make it fact. Megan Fox being hot, or not, is purely subjective. I've no doubt there are people who saw the films and thought Josh Duhamel was/is hotter than her and Rosie Huntington-Whatserface put together. I'd be a little more surprised for anyone to have found Shia the Beef in any way appealing, but stranger things have happened, probably.

Oh and, as a Transformers fan first and foremost, I saw the trailers for the first and 2nd Bay films and thought..."oh well, they've screwed up so much so badly, but at least Megan Fox appears to be wearing sprayed on clothing and bending over completely in half." There's a lot that these films failed to deliver, but gratuitous shots of Fox's arse were there exactly as advertised.

Hey, I have a great idea! How about I pretend Megan Fox never said anything to get herself fired and start going off topic about how bad Michael Bay is?

That's always fun!

Really, I'm glad she's gone. She got what she deserved in my opinion.

Problem is Bay apparently just said THIS was the reason... Not that it was a bunch of things and this just so happened to be the last straw. And either way, pretty stupid last straw. And again, yes, it was a stupid comment, but you have to factor in context and intent. It doesn't even make sense if there was supposed to be some sort of ethnic jab there...'Hey Jewish dude, you're like a vile killer of Jews!' 8-}

And any rate, seems like most here in favor of it just didn't like Fox. Myself...whatever. My only thing is it'll just be that much more cheese that LeBoof is all in love and risking his life for some new chick he met 15 minutes prior. Then again, these guys never met a plot hole they didn't like so why change now?

And you would be wrong. Its only considered disorderly conduct/distubing the peace if it does just that. And if at that point, i would have to continue to press the matter on people. For example..
If someone is walking down the street having a conversation on how the hate *Insert ethnic group here________* with there frined, they are breaking no laws. even if someone happened to over hear them. If i run outside ans scream the same obsinities, even if someone would attack me, as long as i didn't egg on a fight, i still at this point, would not suffer legal concequence. If i shouted the samy thing, someone confronted me, and i kept repeating the remark as to engage in a fight, then yes, i could possibly be arrested as the purpose of screaming said obsenites was to clearly engage in an altercation.
As far as openly talking about the dislike of any particular race and it being a hate crime, you'd be incorrect as well. While i agree that hate is defenatly a modivation for such coments, no "crime' has been comited. If property was defaced with the word "Ni**er", Sp**k, or a symbol of hate (swastica for example), then that would be concidered "Hate crime" as would the asault and battery on someone because of there race, ethnicity, religion, sexual prefferance etc.

As far as obstruction of free speech. Again, this has nothing to do with free speech of violating said rights. Have a right, any right, does not mean you shouldn't, or can't be held responsible for exercising those rights. It just goes back to the old saying of "Freedom isn't free". Cause generaly when your exersiing your rights, somewhere down the line, your violating someone elses.

oh, I'm sure Captziltoid regularly beds women 5 times as hot as Megan Fox, possibly more than 3 at once.

A lot of people do not understand the freedom of speech and how it does not apply in your personal life.

Just sayin'.

Just saying some of you should have paid better attention in your 9th grade civics classes.

Word is bond.

I was always hoping I'd made it as an extra for Dark of the moon (I tried but never got the callback.) so in the event I ever saw Megan Fox I could joke thast working for Michael Bay was nothing like Hitler. He was really more of Stalin heh.

I just picture the scene with Jetfire in ROTF...Michael Bay!....He's terrible to work for. It's always blow up this, blow up that. So much negativity.
