Oh, one more thing to add to the list...and this is a HUGE big bad...
Nelson mentioned that she was invited by King Abdullah II and his wife, Queen Rania of Jordan...to come to a dinner that was prepared just for her and she flat out rudely turned them down.
Mind you, these are the people that helped get ROTF filmed in Egypt and it's surrounding landmarks and she shot down their offer to entertain her.
A KING! And the dude's cool! He filmed a cameo on one of the Star Treks! Dude's a sci-fi fan and she's in a sci-fi movie, so this was like a big deal to him.
The more this laundry list of offenses comes out, the less and less I see a problem with Spielberg firing her. You cap it off with calling someone Hitler in front on the set of a Jewish production, you've pulled out all the stops and pushed your bosses to their breaking point.
When are people going to realize this isn't PC, free speech, any of that? This is simply "You continually screwed up, you were rude to us when we gave you several chances, and you were insensitive. You ARE the weakest link, goodbye!"
I'm not trying to be mean to her, I'm really not. I'm pointing out where she screwed up. Does anyone remember when she was compared to Angelina Jolie and shot that down? Also offensively, I might add?
She was given far more than she deserved. When we little people do this kind of stuff at our jobs, we're reprimanded and/or fired if we don't get our acts together. Why is she any different? They tried to work with her and she was unmanageable.
Lay off Spielberg. He had enough. They all did. When I hear what Spielberg did, this comes to mind:
