Happy belated Thankgiving all. I was unable to find an MP Starscream at the two WMs down here, but I did finally score the WM Exclusive ML two-packs, and an ML Silver Surfer(how lang ago was that out??? They had like 10 of them...)

I also grabbed F4 Legends Namor, Thing, and Mr Fantastic(I'm building Ronan), as well as 2 ML3 Hydra Soldiers, and another set of Series 2 Comic Book Heroes. No new SW or carded GI Joes.

Ok, if I see anything else I'll report.

I did the Black Friday shopping thing yesterday in Canton / Westland / Livonia. Nothing to report besides empty pegs and shelves. Westland mall Kay Bee is having a 30% off the entire store sale, not sure how long the sale lasts. I did help prevent some parents from buying an Unleashed Prime because their kid asked for an Optimus movie figure.

Get this, my cousin went to the Adrian Walmart around 6pm yesterday and they still had the same MP Starscreams on the shelf that have been there for like two weeks now. I gave him some money to pick more up today when he goes back, so I may have your second ones Andrew and Matt. I'll let you know.

Found a couple Shipwreck's and Zartan's today. Both SW's had the Anchor, and the Zartan was in the package that had no face changing label.

Found some new JLU 3 packs that I have never seen.

Laura and I gave a bunch of toys to stuff a bus. I found a bunch of SW at the Mall KB, I have 3 more Snowtroopers (think I have enough now guys), two UGH Concept Stroopers (gold coin), and some of the rare droids that others have had a hard time finding.

I gave 2 Concept Stormtroopers to the bus BTW...feels good to give. Went to TRU and found only one of the new DC Batman figures. It was the all black one. I bought it and on my way out thought, "I don't need it, or have room for it," so into the TOys for tots collection box it went.

Scratch that earlier post...I followed my gut today and went back to WM today, hoping for some more F4 Legends. No deal, so I grabbed the last Cannonball and Domino set, and decided to check the overstock eisle. Lo and behold...I find one Classics Devastator in a slightly beat up box. First time ever I saw that one in a store.

So I added him to my haul, and poked around somemore, hoping to maybe see Ravage and Rumble, for that would blow my mind even more. Then, then...out of the corner of my eye, I pass a newly stocked shelf...WITH 6 MP Starscreams(!!!!!!) ON IT!!! I darted to the front to grab a cart and cleared that shelf faster than anything. An employee walks by and says "Are you that guy that has been calling non-stop about those? We just now found them after a month of looking. I just put them out like five minutes ago." I reply: "No, I haven't called once, but I've been looking for these awhile now. Glad you have them."(While I was thinking "Sucks to be him...")

I'm a stinker.

You're hooked up Matt. And I'll gladly hold on to one for anyone still looking.

Found the two new Star Wars Battle Packs at Target today, and bought them both. each come with an AT-ST (they are different paint jobs from one another), and a slew of cool figures. One is Hoth based and one is Endor based. God I hate Ewoks...but I bought it anyway.

I also found some Wave 2 and 3 joes at Target this AM. It felt good. I still need a Lady Jaye and Serpentor to keep minty in package, but the rest I now have.

I also need to find Stalker variant yellow, and Shipwreck Shark tattoo variant to keep on the card. All the Shipwreck's I saw were anchors, and all the Stalkers were not 'yellow'.

Hope you guys had a restful and relaxing Thanksgiving, cause now it's back to the grind (I used to love that show on MTV btw, "The Grind"... wonderful, wonderful college years...)

well, it looks like I'm going to be doing an install in Hyannis, MA next week. I'll be gone from the 3rd through the 13th :-x

it's going to be strange.. I'm flying into providence, RI and will be staying there the night of the 12th. too bad there is no Botcon to go to

what really makes me mad is that I'm still not even sure if I am going.. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. they just told me to make my travel plans anyways... so here's hoping the site is a deadbeat and doesn't send us the money :grin:

Did you guys/gal notice that blurb about "Anime accurate" heads on the encore Ratchet and Ironhide? Wonder if this means stickers, a head behind the windshield, or a head that pivots up to rest above the windshield? Can't wait to find out :grin:

Yeah, definitely interested in the new heads/faces. I'm wondering if they might be some kind of cheesy clip-on type thing. As interesting as these are, don't they sort of go against the point of the Encore line with the G1-accuracy of the toys & packaging?

well, it'll definitely keep the boards abuzz with complaints about encore not being "true reissues." :grin:

I noticed a lot of complaints about Encore Convoy because the Autobot symbols on his shoulders weren't stickers. I'm looking forward to whatever they do because Ironhide not having a face always bugged the crap out of me when I was a kid :grin:

DB TRU has a ton of Cybertron Galaxy Force Optimus Primes/Metroplex, still at full price. They are on the endcap at the back of the store. They also have a good bit of FABs, from the first wave, and alot of Voyagers: Rescue Ratchet, Thundercracker, Ironhide, Blackout, a few of each, and I think that there was a Megatron there too. Deluxes: Jazz, FB Jazz, Brawl, Dreadwing, Payload, Bonecrusher.

If anyone sees an FAB Bumblebee, pick him up for me please. I want to get one for my nephew for the Holiday, I already got him a Voyager Prime. Many Thanks!
