Dammit I should have checked WM today.

Argh, I just had my POL shipped yesterday, and today, my freakin' Black Incinerator arrived. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. And how that became available before Black Arcee, I'll never know.

The worst part is that both the friend I had with me and me - we're broke til payday. We went in expecting to see nothing and leave with nothing. Hunting is more of a social experience right now...

And then I saw, lunged and grabbed. *shakes head*

Stockade is interesting. Certainly not the bext deluxe, but he's a nice, mean-looking Decepticon with a bio that made me giggle.

well, if anyone was planning on joining myself and tfpredaking for dinner tonight, I will not be there. My flight out of Belfast has been delayed for at least 4 hours. :-x

I won't land in detroit until after 10pm tonight :-x

I suppose, with all the traveling I've done in the last year, this was bound to happen. Everyone's luck has to run out sometime

unless you're my parents.. freakin' royal flushes on video poker!! :grin:

well, now it looks like I won't be leaving belfast until 8pm(3pm eastern). :-x

apparently, continental will give me a hotel room in newark and then I'll fly home on the first flight to detroit tomorrow :-x

I have no idea what's going on.. I guess the plane was delayed in newark.. you'd think if it's going to be 8 hours late.. they could find another plane.

Found Stockade today at the Talyor WM, last two. They have tons of Landmines and Cliffjumpers left. They also put out Deep Desert Brawl, two of them, but I passed on them for now. Tons of AS Voyagers as well, except for Incinerator.

They also loaded up on carded Joes, the first waves 2 and 3, all the pegs were full, probably at least 6 of everyone.

IS the BW sourcebook out this week or next?

The Belleville Dollar General (by the K-mart on Rawsonville Rd.) had a TF Universe 2-pack with Megatron (tank) and Prime. I hadn't seen that before. It was $15 and I was debating whether to grab it or not, but I resisted

I hate sleet...sleet makes stairs slippery...then I have stupid incidents like falling up the stairs at the CoB...in front of a dozen students. Arghh...today is not a good day for me.

Yeah, I just beat the bad weather home thank goodness. I hate having to drive when it is like this.

The benefits of a 6am shift usually means that I'm home by 4. :grin:

Just opened Stockade, he's an interesting Deluxe. Looks great in Black, but needs more detail. Very ape-ish in robot mode, the shoulders sit kind of low, and the legs are shorter than the arms. Cool hands for a Deluxe, sort of mock-Alternator style, just no wrist articulation. Overall articulation is there, but, like most Movie TFs, is somewhat limited due plates and the like hanging off of him. The head sculpt is very cool. But, surprisingly, no weapon.

Transformation is pretty straightforward, Automorph is meh.

Vehicle mode is quite the beauty. Sleek and classy, yet ominous. Feels solid and rolls like a dream. Personally I could have done without the S7 details(in my mind they give him away), but, they don't detract from him much.

Very solid overall, differs enough from the general movie style to merit the purchase. He'd probably fit in better with Universe as a repaint homage, of whom, I couldn't say right now. He lies somewhere between a 7 and and 8 on the 10 scale easily.

Unless you like the looks of that Megs, it's not worth it. Prime is fairly lame.

My only sighting for the day is a package from a friend in California - all the Decepticon Robot Heroes she didn't want (inc G1 Megs, who I've been looking for everywhere!!), three Decepticon magnets (two symbol, one Megs head), and a big stuffed Decepticon symbol throw pillow. :grin:

I've got some Autobot stuff to send her (including a pair of Prime earrings like the Megs ones I had at con), which I need to get in the mail the next time the snow stops falling long enough for me to get to the post office.

We're good friends despite our faction alliances.

It did. I got 'em both today. I really wish they had just let Nick Roche finish the last two issues. The switch back to E.J. Su was a bit jarring. As for the BW Sourcebook, it's just as disappointing as the previous installments. Most of the art is terrible. Why did they put Frank Milkovich's horrid Tripledacus( :-x

) on the cover?! Why did they base Transmetal Tarantulas on the black-and-grey repaint? Why do characters like Spittor and the Mutant Sounwave deserve two pages? It's stuff like this that makes me think back on Dreamwave with fondness.

By the way, Matt. I still haven't heard back from the IDW board's admin yet so I haven't been able to vote for your stuff. Is the voting even still open?

I found the target exclusive scouts at the Carpenter Road target this evening. I picked up Warpath and the repaint of strong arm. I also found Incinerator and Stockade at the AA Walmart. they had quite a few of both figures. glad to find some new tfs today. now it's off to bed. I'm having trouble figuring out what day it is let alone what time it is :grin:

Eastwood Wal-Mart in Lansing had a pretty big restock, tons of Allspark Power deluxes including at least six Stockade. I bought two of them. They also had a couple of Deep Desert Brawl, I picked one of those up too.

Lots of voyagers, no Incinerator though.

Well I faxed in the paper work for Botcon. I ended up only doing the Iacon package again this year. I can't really waste the extra cash going this year with a wedding and a baby on the way.

We could go to Botcon this year if I would save money but I don't have enough will power. I am so weak.

On the bright side, the West Lansing Wal-Mart was stocked up very well today. I found 2 Incinerator's and bought them both! They had at least 6 of pretty much every Allspark Power deluxe and 2 of every other Allspark Power voyager. No Deep Desert Brawl's though.

They also had the new wave of Star Wars comic packs.

Canton WM actually had a bunch of new stock today, a few Incinerators, no Stockades though. Tons of other AS figures.

I grabbed one incinerator myself. :grin:

Yes they did, because besides Incinerator, I was able to pick up two of the new Joe two-packs: Wild Weasel and Ace, and Fred-CG and Scarface Cobra Officer...

Yay.

Can I just say everything is really cool about Incinerator except his 'hands'. I can't believe they did not even put in a joint so that you could bend the rotor blades forward/up for an 'Edward Scissorhands' type of look. They did this with the minicon Osprey, why could they not do it with him? HASBRO is so confusing!!!

Okemos Walmart had 4 Incinerators, snagged one.

The (non) hands are the biggest detriment to the figure. If there was just some way to fold them down into Doc Ock-like claws, it would have made a big difference.
