apparently no one collects star wars figures in Rhinelander, WI. they still have a crapload of the 30th ann.. figures, including at least one mcquarrie stormtrooper. nothing else of note. no alts.

Well it's been kind of a sad morning for me. I finished off a couple of collections. Thanks noob for putting me in touch with someone who can finish off my Galactus Series ML's for a fair price.
I also broke down and ordered the final TF Universe Railbot I need to complete Rail Racer from kbtoys.com. Damn you Tankor for costing me $9.06!
So...now the quest for that Concept Stormtrooper, Devastator and Alt. Ravage/Rumble is full steam ahead!

Well, JT.. I'll save you some gas money. The McQuarrie trooper was gone Looked like someone bought quite a few of the 30th anni figures. I did see they had put out some new 3" titanium vehicles. I found the Classic Cylon Raider! I picked that up. Its cool. They also had the new Imperial Attack Cruiser(Venator class Star Destroyer( Ep III) repaint). There was also another repaint of slave one... how many of those will they do???? No new TFs.. was so hoping for the new alts... oh well. well, only 1 more day and my first week here in Rhinelander is done... of course, I have to teach software that I've never used before tomorrow.. that should be interesting. after that though, it's up to Loc de Flambeau Casino for the weekend.. hopefully to win enough money that buying a Japanese Box Fort Max with a Sword for tfprediking would just be like spending pocket change.

just thought of something else... I would really like hasbro to get a Stargate license.. then we could have 3" titaniums of the Goa'uld Mother ship, Alkesh, death glider, and cargo ship. Also, the Prometheus, Dadaelus, F-302, Wraith Hive ship, wraith cruiser, wraith dart.. puddle jumper... hell, even make a little die cast stargate... that would be cool
oh yeah... ancient battle cruiser like the Orion.... man, I didn't realize how many spaceships were in stargate until just now

WalMart in Jackson has 5 cases of Alt Rumble/Ravage. Two were gone when I got there and I bought 4 (2 of each) so 16 of each were left. Check out the pictures

my guess is that all the supercenters are going to get a bunch of these. too bad all the supercenters are so freaking far away from me. maybe i'll make the trek out to that howell walmart today.

Of course, the only Michigan store to have them so far and it's in Freakin Jackson! These are the only 2 I need and I cancelled my preorder with BBTS, combined it would have been over $70 to get them, when in the stores they are $40 plus tax. If anyone sees them in the downriver area let me know. So far the Taylor and Woodhaven Walmarts don't have them. Also, went out to the Big Lots in Southgate (by the TRU) and they had the Cybertron KO figs that are basically upsized LOC figs. Picked up 2 Primes and a Megatron at $2 a piece it's a nice thing to have. Plus found the Universe Micromaster Arielbots there as well, 4 bucks a pop, finalyl got all the Universe micromaster combiner sets! Again, lemme know if anyone finds those 2 Alts close by.

We went to Howell around 2:00am last night, they had boxes in the isle to stock but nothing TF related

Honestly I don't know the time we were there. We left Jackson and went to Milford and then to Howell. Sometime between 1 and 2AM roughly though
We stopped at the Ionia WalMart on the way back from the Golden Gloves competition in Grand Rapids today, they had nothing as did the WalMart in Charlotte.
Tomorrow is going to be a lazy day, going to sit around and watch movies

So I just faxed in my registration for Botcon. I hope that my wife and I can get into the customizing class again this year. It was really fun last year...
I am impressed with the set without even having seen it--can't wait to see that they did a little wing retooling on the coneheads--hopefully. A lot of b' and m'ing about the seekers not being released at retail and that there is an elitist collector's cast being formed out there. So what else is new? Isn't there always elitism involved in anything we do? At Disney World you can stay at better resorts, see more, and do more for more money. Buy a car, you can low end or high end...
I feel sorry for people who want the set, but can't afford it, and do feel fortunate that I, at this time, am able to afford it.
We're also going to try to get in the HASBRO tour, and see the movie early. It's a bit expensive, but for us, it's a vacation, so why not spend some money?
Congrats on finding the alts guys. BBTS overcharged me for mine, I didn't cancel in time. I'll look for my second set at retail over the next few weeks.
