Welcome, Star_ling. I'd recommend Barricade if you haven't grabbed him already, he's a nice figure just by himself, and also the head/torso of Energon Bruticus Maximus.

I haven't been to a KB in months, the two by my job closed down, and I'm not sure if the one in Westland is even still open.

Glad the rest of you enjoyed Iron Man without me. :-x I hate having to get up so early for work.

I'm going Sunday if anyone wants to join for a second viewing.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

Botcon 2010--Souvenirs Rapido, Scorch/Shattered Glass Ravage

MISP preferred, but will consider opened NM/Complete, especially for older figures. Lots of TFs for trade! Please PM any inquiries, serious interest only!

I hate tfw2005 too. That's why I only post here :)

In fact as much as I dislike the numerous bugs and upgrades with phpbb here, I'd take that xInfinity before hanging out at tfw2005.[/quote]

The KB is definately still at Westland mall and open because that's where I spotted the same bunch of figurines the other day (and took the two pics of a few pages back).

I went and saw the movie again for the 5:45pm showing today at Canton E-magine again :P *still wants an R8...and a model F-22 now...*

I was wondering if you'd find your way over here or not, Star_ling, after that comment about the Comic Con.

Was it as good the second time?

Glad to see you made it over, Star_ling. Like I said, this is a great group of people here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Dude you are not the only one I totally missed the movie too cause I had to go to my job and pick my last check. Finding work around here is hard.

The KB Toys by me also had Voyager Starscream for like $12. I was thinking about getting it and when I looked up he was gone. I just can't win this week.

Yes, so he can smash more vehicles.

Laura and I went to see Iron Man yesterday. I have to say, I was not disappointed. I thought it was great. I can't believe what a good Stane that Jeff Bridges portrayed. And then we heard his voice repeatedly later as we watched the Pistons game...and I thought, "Stane is selling cars now?"

I dub Iron Man, the best superhero comic adapted movie ever. Hellboy is a close 2nd.

I meant to ask, is anyone else looking at the Indy toys and going, whoa cool, why haven't these been out before???

I love 'em. The little Adventure Heroes, the 3.75 offerings to go with my joes, I find them very hard to resist due to love of the movies.

Now after buying some they do have issues, like bending joints, hard to stand, and they don't hold their weapons well. You'd think after all their Star Wars and GI Joe experience, HASBRO could have at least done that part right.

Can't wait for Indy to come out in theaters. Evden if Shia is in it...

I say again, IRON MAN ROCKS!!! 8) 8)

On an unrelated note, Todd and I were checking out the Indy toys the other night. I agree with you Matt, they are pretty neat! I don't think I'm going to buy them, but they are trying their best to suck me in :P

If you get a chance, play with the sound making whip! Funny stuff :P

If you guys have not "scene it" already, I picked up Scene It Marvel Comics travel edition at Target for only $3.74. There was about 5 left at the Westland Target. No real sightings to report beyond the 8 or so Payload's they have for $6.99 each.

I STILL haven't seen it. My friends are all like "Dude its the best movie EVAR1!!!!" I just haven't had the time (or money) to. I mean I like Ironman and all but I like War Machine like 1000x more. Cocky characters are annoying to me to no end. War Machine was better to me.

To those who have seen it, is it really the best Marvel movie adaption? Even better than Spiderman?

Yes, Hands down.

Spider-Man 2 is a great movie, don't get me wrong, but with Iron Man you get the casting of a main character that is so spot on its scary. Much like J.K. Simmons is J.J. Jameson in the Spider-man movies, Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark :!:

Take your pop bottles back, save your lunch money, anything that will get you into this movie while it is in theaters. You will not be disappointed :D

I agree. That should mean a lot, coming from a DC guy. Also, don't worry about War Machine. There's a little bit in the movie that suggests they're already planning on it. I would guess after Iron Man 2.

So you and Magnus believe this to be more awesome than Spiderman, I guess I have no choice but to see for myself. Some friends of mine are going this week I guess I'll join then.

The reason I have no money is due to my expensive toy lust. Animated is only going to make it worse. But I recently found that I have many sellable things ready for Ebay. I am so glad we kept are rare game collection.
