I've been meaning to post this sooner, but I told myself I wouldn't until I got caught up with some work for senior design.

As for MP Starscream...I finally rewarded myself yesterday by opening him (he's been taunting me for the past two weeks). And I know that this is made by Hasbro, not Takara, so I was expecting difficulty with joints and what-not, but I noticed something quite peculiar about him:

One of these things is not like the other...or, I should say EXACTLY like the other...

So now I need some advice: Should I deal/hassle with Hasbro on this? Walmart? Think it might actually go up in value? Any suggestions are appreciated

Did I sell you that one? I would have never bought it if I knew that it had two right hands! Crap.

I feel some recompense is in order, we'll talk and see if I can't make it up somehow.

I've heard that Hasbro is not terribly good with addressing these issues, but I wouldn't discourage at least writing them about it. What they would do about it, I have no idea.

I don't see it going up in value unless it remained sealed, and even then, I wouldn't expect too much.

All I can recommend is to keep an eye out for part lots on ebay, or something of that order. If you know any customizers, they may have an extra hand, on hand, so to speak.

Do not go through Hasbro to fix it, Jimotron. They'll tell you to send it back for a replacement. This process is likely to take at least a couple months and then they'll send you a replacement of "equivalent value" because they don't have any more in stock, which will probably turn out to be something like a movie deluxe or a Real Gear.

Yeah, I would expect something like that myself. I've heard some stories that have made me want to puke...

well i am here but i have been having continual sign in problems with seibs. i would sign in then go to a thread, then i would have to sign in again. every time i would change pages i would have to log back in. why hasnt this been fixed yet?

anywho, i got movie incinerator this past weekend. i also found a tech deck dude that looked like ultra magnus. yesterday i saw the iron man movie figures at the roseville TRU yesterday. still cant find walmarts big daddy and grindcore. or overcast. anyone find the new real gear repaints yet?

I decided that I am going to complete Alternators. I am missing a bunch so if anyone has some spares for sale at reasonable rates toss a PM my way. I'd perfer MISB but depending on cost I would take a look at ones that are loose but complete and in good shape.

I cant find a damn toy store in this damn town cant wait to go out looking around in Cleveland when I get home...

Yep 155 Beats Per Min....Doc said that was perfect...plus we could hear it moving around...I can wait to intoduce this little one to the Transformers world...OH while I am on that...awile back Hot Topic had sweet ass Soundwave and Prime Onesies anyone know where I may find those still?

anywho can anyone try to pick me up a big daddy and grindcore? i still cant find them. i did finally find overcast. and the roseville TRU finally got evac and incinerator.

Nothing interesting up in these parts... My hunting has been limited by the fact that my unpaved, dead end road has partially washed out to the point that I now need to go get a tire fixed. But I am not getting it fixed until after the county comes and fixes the road.

However, a box of Cyberjets and Skyscorchers arrived today from eBay, so I'm exceedingly happy. I've just gotten everyone transformed and lined up on my desk. Shall have to take pictures at some point because even one of my non-fandom friends thinks they're rather cute (and wants one of my duplicates).

ionacus, most of us have not found the WM Exclusives in this area. I never saw one, in any of the 5 WMs that I hit. I did get Jolt from DeepWater at this month's 'Con.

All of my Premiums came in at BBTS. Prime, Megatron, Blackout, Ironhide, and the Deluxe case which includes Jazz, BB, and Barricade. Just in time to fill my new shelves! Really looking forward to DS Starscream, I keep drooling over the galleries because he's one of the best repaints in the line.

Has anyone seen the Walmart exclusive Jolt, Divebomb, Grindcore and Big Daddy in Michigan yet? If so where? I have checked 10 Walmarts and NOTHING.

They popped up at the Fort Gratiot (Port Huron) Walmart at the beginning of the month and I ended up with a set, my hunting partner ended up with a set and a few Jolts ended up with other people on this thread, but they seemed to have only gotten one shipment and they vanished quickly. Grindcore seemed particularly shortpacked.

And I regret not buying every single one I saw the night I stopped to get a sandwich and there was a full display.

I picked up the Tech Deck Dudes Manga in Ultra Magnus colors today. I'm a sucker for these things. I kinda wish I hadn't passed on the Rodimus colored one. Oh well...

I found two premium ironhides at the Canton Wal-mart tonight. I picked one up for PQP and left the other one there. there weren't any other premium figures.
