Livonia Meijer had the Premium Prime and Megatron, two of each. They also had some Star Wars Episode I figures. I'm talking the '98/'99 stuff. :shock:

I ordered that tapestry too, I can't wait to see it on the wall in my toy room!

The premium figures are cool but I am just not excited about them at all. I'm looking forward to Animated but lately I have found myself looking more towards Takara for my collection needs. Encore, Masterpiece, Henkei, BT and such are all things I really enjoy. The movie line just makes me angry.

I've also been looking at a lot of older stuff, Alternators for example. The Hasbro re-issues from a few years ago and the TFC stuff from Takara have caught my eye again and I'm thinking about trying to complete those sets after Alts. I'm really looking forward to collecting some of these older toys. The new stuff just isn't doing anything for me, kind of depressing.

Pretty sad when I get way more excited over finding new Star Wars figures than I do over new Transformers at retail.

I think we all may be a bit tired of the movie toys and their repaints now JT. I know I am.

I too find myself spending money elsewhere...vintage items, GI Joe 25th, Star Wars...

I saw something weird today at the Kmart on Van Born, Legends of Cybertron have been re-released in Classics Legends packaging. HotShot, Prime, Soundwave, and, oddly, Classics Legend Leo Prime, were all there.

It was a disappointment..I got all exited thinking that they were the wave 2 Classics Legends that I never saw. :cry:

They stocked the hell out of TFs, had plenty of earlier Deluxes and Voyagers, including Megatron, and new FABs and Movie Legends.

The DB TRU had quite a few of the Exclusive 5-packs(Night Ops/Red Ninja), but no 3-packs yet. No carded figs, either. They did have a Sig 6 Zartan.

TF-wise, they had lots of Rescue Ratchets and Thundercrackers still, and 3 Ultimate BBs. No new Deluxes.

I did break down and buy Iron Monger there, he just looks so damned cool. Gotta have at least one fig from that line.

I picked that Hot Shot up a few weeks ago at the KB Toys Outlet in Howell. It's not bad for what it is, I always loved that mold - especially the deluxe version.

I also picked up an Iron Monger this past weekend, it's a great figure. It feels so damn solid, I love it.

Hey JT, I have a bunch of Hasbro and Takara re-issues still MISB I have been selling at the con. PQP bought a bunch off of me, but I still have some left if your interested after you complete your Alts.

Also, unlike the Devastator I still haven't been able to find Hook for (Andrew saw all my extra Devastator's, I'm missing like 4 Hooks :???:

) these are all out and accessible right now

Anywho, if your interested, I can send you a list of what I have.

Believe it or not, the South Lansing Meijer was fully stocked on newer TFs. Several Evacs, Incinerators, Premium Prime and Megs, and more!

Saw the Joe 3-Packs at the DB TRU today, picked up the Crimson set, as well as the Senior Joes. Two Cobra and one Joe set remain. Still one Night Ops and 4 Red Ninja 5-Packs left there, too.

They also had 3 each of Premium Prime and Megatron, no other new TFs. Oh, saw a McQuarrie Han Solo there, too, just one, left him.

Got my Premium Deluxes from BBTS yesterday, they are really nice for the most part. Jazz looks fantastic, he's painted! All of him! Barricade has better detailing, but the plastic is dull and some of the details(like the painted windows)are overboard, and BB remmains in my POL still. The case that I got had Salvage and Stealth BB. Haven't opened Salvage, but I opened BB.

He sucks. The black/yellow scheme is totally ruined by that damned Allspark blue. They even put in on the head, which looks like hell. I'm glad I have him along side the other BBs, but, in general, he's an extremely weak repaint. Boo, Hasbro. I can't beleive he's going for $23.99 at BBTS...

Bad repaints? Anyone remember Generation 2? Yeah.. Exactly. Just be glad you didn't get something puce with orange camo. ;p But that does suck about BB. I had high hopes for the paintscheme.

Picked up a set of the Joe Target Exclusive vehicles today at Allen park/ Dearborn Target. They are in the stock room, the employee only brought out one set and I didn't want to push it. They also had the Wave 2 revision case so I picked up an extra Snake Eyes to open. They were also fully stocked on all 3 waves of Comic Packs.

Armored CC is still eluding me though.

Yeah, I figured you could do that. Cyber Bishop did it and shared the DCPI, but I'm waiting until my money comes around again... :-(

I heard they have an excellent price though...$9.99?!?! :shock:

Tell me about it, they are the best "value" I think we've seen in a long time. I guy on hisstank (who I think beats us to alot of the new stuff in the Liv./Canton/Westland area) said they are at the checkout lanes now at Canton Target.

I would like to get another AWE Striker and acouple more Tanks, especially at the price.

Well I dont collect Joes...but I saw the new two pks here at a local walmart...they do look really nice...lets just say I have each and eveyone in my hands at one point...and again I dont collect joes...

I am also thinking about picking up to iron man figures...I want an iron man and iron monger...but I looked at the back of the box and saw an iron monger that like opens think I want that one...

this week i ended up finding the premium prime and megatron at the roseville TRU. they look pretty good. if they have another sale and i have the money, i just might get them. they also had the GI joe night ops/red ninja packs and three of the 3packs also. the CC and 2 officer ones. they also had a bunch of iron man and marvel legends figures. god i need some new toys.

tiger game was awesome yesterday, but we still lost. and i had good sets too.

tfpredaking and I found the target GI Joe vehicles at the carpenter road target in AA. we used the DCPI: 087060918. they brought them out from the back room. each case has one of each vehicle.

Okay, I just finished watching last night's BSG premiere. I won't spoil it, but I will say... I DON'T THINK I CAN TAKE THIS KIND OF STRESS FOR A WHOLE SEASON!!!!! :shock:

I talked to the Toys R Us in Roseville today and the lady there said they had the movie Jet Storm and Wingblade in stock, but they all sold out. She said all the local TRUs had sold out of them already according to their computer system. That was quick! Anyone get any?

No, I haven't seen them. They couldn't have possibly sold out completely, TRU Exclusives are stocked regularly for about a 3-month period. Maybe just this weekend's shipment sold fast, because they tend to get them in low quantities at first.

I think they'll be around for some time.

Saw the Target Allspark figs today at the Canton Target, they are up by the registers, by the Order 66 figures. I grabbed the last BB, and one Jazz. A couple of Brawls and four Jazz remain, there were no Barricades.

Or in the case of the Primal Megatron 2 pack... about a 2 year period :grin:

actually though, when did those disappear out of stores and where did they go? every TRU I went into had like 30 of them... :-?
