My friend Jeff, not the same one because he lives in a house with his family, took some pictures and posted them on his Facebook of these noisy guys.

Thanks Andrew, Target seems to only want to release a certain set of guys, of which I have all that I want. At every Target store I have seen the same set of figures. Walmart and TRU are the ones who seem to be putting out later stuff. I already bought a bunch of it, but I really need to find a new Paratrooper (or 5), and Ice Viper (and variant +5).

So yeah.

I forgot to post that I saw ROTF Stratosphere at the Ann Arbor/Saline Road Target yesterday at lunch. Don't know if it's still there
I picked up the director's cut of Watchmen. Now I need to find time to actually watch it! :grin:

My g/f and I drove all the way up past Traverse City yesterday, stopped at a Wal-Mart and Meijers when we needed to stretch our legs.

Even THEY had the same figures as all the local stores. I don't get how people are getting their Devastators and such, but they definitely aren't getting them in Michigan.


I haven't been able to find the Wave schedule lately. Anyone know what we should be expecting soon?

Ford Rd Walmart has the Blast Cannon BBee, Dune Runner, Scalpel, and of course exclusives Ramjet, and Skywarp. Kohl's at Westland Mall has Animated Activator Dirge. Still looking for Cliffjumper.

Severely lacking in the new GI Joe movie items though everywhere.

They have a list of everything by class, then wave. Don't fear the wiki!

Ahem... Legends have been released up to wave 3. Scouts are also to 3 around here, although I believe there have been trickles of wave 4 in not-michigan. Lots of deluxes up to wave 3, and wave 4 and 5 have begun to show up, again, not here. Wave 4 is in for voyagers, and wave 5 has shown up in the us of a minus us. I've only spotted HA BB, although HA Sideswipe was found in Ca today. I've looked at an Ultimate BB, but not a Devastator. Leader Jetfire's been spotted here, but I'll be damned if I can find one. I might just wait as there are bound to be 300 everywhere around xmas. The Target Bruticus set has recently been spotted in other states. I predict within 2-3 weeks nearly everything we're waiting on will be available.

In the last 2 days I've checked the Walmarts in Bellville and Ypsi, the Targets on Michigan ave and Carpenter in Ypsi, and several washtenaw Meijers. I didn't find a damn thing. Honestly, I feel kind of meh about the rotf toys so far, although I probably just miss Universe and Classics. HA BB, Sideswipe, the scouts, and Leader prime are about the only toys I've been really happy with. I don't care for chicken legs at all, and the paint apps have been really boring. Soon I'm going to treat myself to a crapload of reissues instead. /rant...

I still can't find Ravage. :-(

The new figs shown at SDCC look great! Looks like I'll have lots of geewunny goodness to add to my Movie collection.

BTW, X-travacon is this Sunday, see you there.

:EDIT: Just picked up Scout Dunerunner at the Taylor WM, last one. He's a cool little 'bot, and would make a perfect Beachcomber repaint(a pacifist with firepower!). There were two Reverbs, no Ejectors, plenty of everything else waves 1-2, save for Sideswipe. Lots of Mixmasters, and a ton of the Seeker Exclusives. Dearborn TRU is also pretty well-stocked, just no Sideswipes or Stratospheres. They've got the Whirl/Bludgeon sets, and still one Movie Thundercracker, and 4 Ultra Jetstorms, 2 Mudflaps, and 1 Inferno(Armada Red Alert repaint). Lots of TFU Powerglides, too. Happy Hunting.

Where did I see Ravage around here??? I'm trying to remember if I did. There were bunches of them up north last week. Should have let me know, I would have grabbed you one.

Target on Ford Rd. has Blazemaster (x4 at least), Dead End deluxe (x4 at least), Jolt (x2 that I remember), and Ice Cream Truck twins (x1 that I saw).

Go get 'em!!!!

Dune Runner is awesome. I fidgeted with him for a good 1/2 hour yesterday. Very poseable, cool transformation, and nice firepower. The only problem I had was the should pieces are too long so they limit poseability.

DOn't buy Scalpel... please let me save you some money... do not buy scalpel!!!!

Okay. I have a dilemma. Encore Bruticus and the 2nd set of Tapes came in today. I now have both of those in POL as well as Alternity Megatron and Henkei Red Alert. Do I ship my loot now or wait for DIA commander and Superion limbs? I don't know. I haven't gotten a big box of Transformers Goodness in so long. But I'm afraid that I'll click ship my loot and those other two will come in next week. Oh, what a dilemma I have :grin:

We're a group of collectors mainly in the Detroit area, but we have people out in GR, Lansing, and Flint as well. Hope I'm not missing anyone. We generally report sightings and other things. A bunch of us meet up at the Xtravacon in Livonia. there's one tomorrow. If you are in the area you should join us . We're a friendly bunch:-)

Well, you probably already know, a "Michigander" is the proper term for someone who is from, or lives, in MI.

Our thread originally took up space in the Toys Forum, years ago, before the Sightings Forum was created. TT24 started the first one, and noob started this thread after the big site crash a few yrs back. The Michiganders, as well as the UK thread, are probably the reason the Sightings Forum was created.

Many of us go way back and have been friends for years, initially meeting through our mutual hobby. We look out for each other, so welcome!
