Stratosphere is at the Flint Toys 'R Us. I saw two or three earlier today when I was picking up this Coraline doll I randomly found earlier this week for my girlfriend. (Hope she loves it) Anyway, I'm not really too in to Stratosphere, but I hope one of you looking for him pick him up and tell us what you think.

I'm mad at TRU right now... So there was that sale for pre-ordering the ROTF figs at no shipping cost. I ordered Soundwave and he just arrived today. His box looked like someone had stepped on it and tried to rip part of it open! The plain vanilla (lightly padded) envelope looked fine except it had this handwritten note that said "Did not turn for this" that has me totally confused... But was TRU too lazy to use a box?! Seriously, at least Soundwave isn't damaged, but he was really close to being crushed...

Well, I guess that's all they felt like doing for free shipping. At least they didn't just walk outside the warehouse, throw it as far as they could and then tell you where it landed.

Hello everybody

Since I've started working at a Meijer, I figure I might as well keep tabs on what's getting onto shelves and share that with you guys.

Although, I stopped in at the Target on Southfield Rd in Southfield between 12 and 13 Mile (it's only a couple years old), and not only did they have their ROTF stuff out, but they had a bunch of the Wave 2 ROTF stuff out. :shock:

I've tried to add this new-ish Target location to the list, but I keep getting an error and have yet to find anywhere to get help on it. Has anyone else had that kind of problem with new stores?

I know I'll need to pick up Starscream eventually, but I'm waiting for a sale. The last price-hike put a lot of figures beyond my willingness-range. Shall look for Superion when I'm out this week, though. Have seen most of the normal RotF figures between Port Huron Kmart and Marysville Meijer.

Not sure who remembers my friend Matt, who usually came with me to (and carried my bags around) Xtravacon. He's in Kandahar, Afghanistan now.

I've been gleefully building Gundam models...

I got my Animated Skywarp from HTS today. He's very nice. Really good colors on him. If you're still looking for him, he'll probably start popping up now that I actually have him :grin:

It's been a while since I've posted...hope everyone is doing well.

I just picked up ROTF Leader Prime at the Jenison Target and man is he sweet. The arm articulation is lacking and I wish you could detach the swords, but overall he's a great figure.

On another note, I have a bit of a dilemma and thought I'd first turn to my fellow Michiganders for help. I've been slowly piecing together a G1 Devastator over the years and finally procured a Hook that is in fantastic condition. HOWEVER, I just realized that he is missing the little tab that swings out so you can attach Devastator's left arm. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have a broken Hook they'd be willing to part out?

A guy who reviews Transformers on YouTube (Optibotimus) had comments on one page saying there's going to be a Leader-Class Starscream down the road, so I think I'm going to hold out for that. They mentioned a Voyager Bonecrusher, too.

Speaking of which, I have a Cost-Co membership, and the one on Hall Road had Leader Optimus and Megs, like a stack of them 4x4x4, for $35. I think that's their normal price, too.
Granted, you need a membership to even walk into the place, but if you do, check it out. I'm going to check out the one closer to me, Stephenson between 12 & 13 mile, on Monday.

What was funny is that it had a note on the price tag "Batteries not included", and I thought that'd be a weird reason for them to be $15 cheaper. I tested the chest switches tho... yeah, they have batteries. Stores are so weird.

No midnight showing for me. I'll get to it eventually.

Friday I hit the DB TRU looking for the Whirl/Bludgeon set, they didn't have any, but they did have at least 4 Animated Wreck-Gars, and some A-Deluxe still. They also had the Exclusive Darkwing and Countdown, and still some U-Ultras, I don't see those anywhere anymore, and they still had 2 U-Smokescreens.

They still have Thundercracker from the first Movie line, and they Exclusive Voyager Mudflap, and they Jetstorm and Wingblade Ultras, too. Not much else as far as new movie stuff.

Thanks to RC13 for picking me up a Whirl/Bludgeon set.

man!

i traded off my binaltech grimlock last year for some of the first movie toys and tonight my mother came home with her new car, a ford mustang GT!

if only i still had him, i'm sure she'd get a kick out of it, even if her's is red and grimlock was silver.

oh well. no one's still finding legend class classics anywhere anymore are they? i never found a bumblebee or brawn. :<
