Stopped into Flint Toys R Us to see what they had today. Saw the Voyager class Stratosphere (think that was his name. comes with the tiny optimus). didnt know he was out too. also at Target they had a sign saying that Superion is 29.99 but they didnt have them in yet. they had some of those BB arm cannons on the shelf instead.

I found ROTF Superion at the Canton Target on Ford Road. I had to ask them to get them out of the back. DPCI 087-06-0146. They had two cases. there should be 7 left. I don't know if they were going to put out on the shelf. My guess is most targets have them in the back and for some reason haven't put them out. Now I'm trying to decide if I should open it before I get the fansproject upgrade. Probably should to make sure nothing is wrong with them. Well, I think I'm done with ROTF until Long Haul comes out.

well, my new superion is in fine shape. I put them all back in the box and will wait for the upgrade set. Can't wait for that. I did notice that the two fighter jets have been remolded. Their noses are a LOT more rounded than the energon version a bit of a disappointment, because the energon ones look better. but that's okay. the energon ones are going to stay in separate robot modes from now on. I'm actually going to keep the box. Seldom do I save american boxes, but I really like the picture on the back and the image of Superion's head on the front.

You are my hero, Rodimus Convoy! I just got back from the Ford Rd. Target, and they do in fact have the Superion giftsets out on endcap. This and Bruticus were the things I was most excited about buying from the ROTF line... Thank you!

Superion is $29.99. Not bad for 5 figures.

Westland TRU has a bunch of new stuff. Lots of wave 1 deluxes and BB and soundwave. Westland TRU had a ton of wv 2 deluxes. They do have Superion, but he's in the back. Canton Walmart was very well stocked with Wave 1 deluxes. I picked up Ransack there. Yes, now I'm done until Long Haul :grin:

The g/f and I went around to a few shops yesterday, near the Royal Oak area. We had limited funds, but got a few things to start us off.

We ended up getting Demolisher from Meijer's in Clawson, who had a very small selection sitting on the side of the aisles, then went to the John R. Target and picked up the Fallen, Skids and Wheelie.
They also had Chromia, but I wasn't sure if that's a different mold from Arcee. I don't know when she's coming out, but we're holding off just in case.

We also went to the Toys 'R Us on John R. They all had the Leader Megs and Optimus (want), the masks, BB cannon. TRU also had the Sideswipe, Sideways, Rampage and Bumblee, the new Starscream and the Ironhide/Ratchet repatints along with some other characters that won't be in the movie, so I'm not concerned with them too much.

Not a Soundwave in sight. I was disappointed, I was hoping to find him first.

Just gotta wait til I get paid again before I make a second trek. Loving the toyline so far. Skids was a tricky transformation with the backpack, but an online review cleared it up. I have him and the wickedly alien-looking Fallen sitting right here, while my g/f has the other two with her. They all look great.

The new Megs is very slick, I love the bulkier look. I hope the transformation is better this time.
And Optimus absolutely rocks. Can't wait to get my hands on him.

You folks seem to have RotF sightings pretty well covered, but I thought I should mention to anyone who still needs TFA Wreck-Gar, they had 4 on the shelf with all the RotF stuff at the Arborland Toys'R'Us this afternoon.

I wandered out today just to see what was around. I had a $5 reward certificate from TRU so I used it toward a Sideswipe. He's the only ROTF figure that looks appealing to me right now. His feet are crap but otherwise he's okay. They really seem to have gotten lazy with most of the bot modes. Livonia Walmart had a Soundwave if anybody's still looking. I don't really understand why he's the hot figure right now. To each his own, I suppose.

Cuz the original Soundwave was awesome, therefore this new one must be awesome as well.

Actually, I was really hoping they'd stick with a boxier shape with him. We'll see how he fares in the movie though. The toy doesn't really look much like him to me aside from the color scheme, but maybe they got him right in characterization.

I think the Soundwave is popular just cause a lot of the stores didnt get them making them harder to find. out of all the stores in the Flint area i checked out, only one had him. I'm personaly not a fan of the new Soundwave. I'll wait to see if he gets another alt mode (isnt he going to be a truck or something?) and pick that one up

Actually, I was hoping they would've stuck with a boxier look for everyone. And maybe given Megatron a decent alt mode this go 'round. And maybe find a competent director. Sigh. At least this leaves an opportunity for a darker reboot in ten years. :roll:

I think soundwave is hard to come by because every other target I go to has about 100 of him. :grin:

Ann Arbor/Saline Road target only had BB and soundwave in the deluxe sizes. He's an okay figure. Looks great in the box. Not as great out of the box. he doesn't snap together in alt modes, so it's hard to tell if you've got him right.

On the subject of awesome figures though.. I want this one soooooooooo bad!!! :grin:

I stopped at the Ann Arbor/Saline road Target at lunch to pick up Weeds Season 4. They still have a ton of Soundwave and Bumblebee. a few voyagers and leaders and a bunch of scouts. No Superions. My guess is they still haven't put the out and they are collecting dust in the back.

Lots of new blood in the forum. Anyway, I too wanted blockier, G1 looking characters. I think Long Haul will be the closest I get.

If only there were a Transformers: Resolute or something.

My stores must be the only ones playing by the rules or something, you guys talking about Long Haul and things that aren't supposed to be out for another month.

Dunno why the Royal Oak area's only doing Wave 1 if others aren't, but whatever. I need time to save up for the next wave.

Had a good birthday yesterday, my g/f and I went out and used b-day money to get the remaining Deluxe classes. I think we have every new RotF character featured in Wave 1.

She's holding onto Demolisher and Wheelie, while sitting here are:

The Fallen
Soundwave (Wal-Mart FTW)
Rampage
Sideways
Sideswipe (prolly my fave Autobot of the line thus far)
Skids
Chromia

From what I saw, the rest were either remakes/paints of TF1 figures, or just other characters not in the movie. It's a shame though, that F-35 would be pretty slick to see.

The Long Haul they are talking about is the Fast Action Battler. The Voyager won't be out for a while yet.

Yay for new albums from favorite bands! I grabbed 311's new album Uplifter today from Best Buy...it's so much better than that semi-functional turd they released in 2005. I seems like at least half of the songs seem to directly address a lot of problems I'm going through right now...it really makes me feel better. And I still get to watch the accompanying DVD! :grin:

Then I went to the Westland TRU, picked up the last Sideswipe, and one Sideways, there were several of him left. They seemed to have plenty of everything else, including an Animated Magnus.

Then I went to the Canton Target and they grabbed a Superion out of the back for me, and I had to pick up a few more storage containers. They had the Wave 2 ROTF Voyagers, with Ratchet and the Fallen.

Oh, and yesterday I broke down and preordered the Bazai-tron set, I have to have the one. I'll get Razorclaw and Elita-1 eventually...

I bought THE FALLEN out of curiosity, and the SUPERION set.

I also pre-ordered, Leozack, Banzai-tron/Skyquake, and Razorclaw/Elita-1. If I can get RC/E1 from the club, I'll remove them from the pile.
