Hot-Rodimus wrote:So I just got home from the K-mart on Van Born Rd. in Taylor and am utterly furious! I got there at 4:30am and they had ALL of the legend size figures from the ROTF line. I picked them all up, which grand totaled over $50, and was on my way to be rung up. When the lady rung the first one up, she got a message saying "before release date" and called the manager on the phone only to be told not to sell them to me. The lady then proceeded to take them and put them under the register, like I was going to grab them right off the counter and run out with them or something. They got my hopes up and then just totally smashed them, I thought I was actually going to be able to pick them all up in one fell swoop, but instead, they decided that the customer wasn't important enough to even try and make amends for the situation at all.
I know that I certainly won't be returning to that location for my purchases, and I would urge you to do the same.
Now, I do understand that the toys weren't supposed to be out there, but the simple fact was that they were. They had the prices on them, so they were already in the system and could have easily been rung up by just price alone, but the simple fact is that they just said that they wouldn't sell them to me and shoved them under the register. I don't think that the situation was handled well at all!

Kmart did this for the first Transformers movie as well. They put everything out on the shelf, but then wouldn't sell them. Nor would they take the stuff off of the shelf either.

Highbeam wrote:That makes no sense from any perspective... Make people want what they can't have, deny the purchase and the result is that the customer will go find the product elsewhere. Bad form, K-mart.

That..and Star Trek was a bit better.

Westland TRU has the individual packs, larger peanut MM packs with ROTF packaging, and SNickers bites with yellow nougat (Bumblebee promotion).

Wow, those sound gross, but I'll take your word for itCongrats on the baby! I dont' know about anyone else, but I'm in mourning over the end of universe. I'm really not looking forward to the movie line. Except for Superion, but he doesn't really count. I know a few of us are heading to Motor City next weekend. God Magnus, Highbeam and myself. Possibly tfpredaking and PQP. Anyone else? I'll have to give dr. noob a call and see what his plans are.

Did anybody go to TFCon? How is the Powered Convoy exclusive. I thought about buying one online, but $300??? I like it, but man, I don't know about that price for an 'unofficial' item.

It didn't work out for me to go to TFcon. I really wanted that powered commander set, but yeah, the prices on it are insane. I do have Henkei Red Alert in my Pile of Loot. and a few more things that should be coming in soon.
AS for animated.. I just want to see some pics of the Rodimus Prime figure. Did anyone catch the fun cameos from this past weekend's episode?
