there is a toy show in st clair shores between 12/13 on jefferson. i will have a table there. this will be my second toy show that i am selling at this year. i hope i sell enough.

Stand down, troops! I went to WalMart tonight and they had 7 cases of DCUC Wave 10 on the pallets. Power Girl, Batman, and Joker are heavily overpacked. I have to go through four cases to pull a complete set. At least I don't have to worry about these any more. Now if I could only complete Wave 8....

Just worked my first overnight at TRU last night, got to put some 25th Anniversary stuff up. All we have so far was Perceptor and some Insecticons.

if anyone hasnt noticed TRU has a doorbuster sale this weekend with all TF voyagers,ultras, bumper battlers supreme and leader class figures 50% off. it starts at 3pm till 11pm today and tomorrow from 8am till 1pm. the ad is in todays newspaper.

EDIT:the tou show i was going to have a table at got canceled. f@#k me rigid. i cant seem to get a break lately.

Thanks man. Been waiting for the Insecticons to show up at KZO TRU. Picked them up today. Love em. Think they're kinda expensive, but glad I got them.

Taylor WM had the Super Tuner Throwdown sets, at least 8 of them, priced at $27(for 2 Deluxes...sigh...). Despite my complaint, I bought one and will be using Blowpipe as my Movie Pipes. Didn't see any MP Skywarps, the release date was Nov 1st.

I was able to find the DCUC Joker at Livonia WM last weekend, I still would like Manbat from that wave, if anybody can keep an eye out for me, it'll be much appreciated.

Last weekend I also picked up Public Enemies Batman, to join my Batman collection. I think that's roughly 8-10 Batmen I have so far. :grin:

TFs seem to be selling pretty well, most of the stores I've been to seem due for a major restock by the time Thanksgiving rolls around.

Happy Hunting. Can't wait for the next X-travacon, seems like it's been forever.

Westland TRU had 5 or 6 of them when I was there last Saturday and Livonia TRU had 2 yesterday.

Looks like Universe Ultras are 12.99 at TRU tomorrow and Saturday.

I will also be at the next Xtravacon, manning the Joe Smith Memorial Table once again!

Hoorah!! Picked up MP Skywarp at the Taylor WM! They had to get one off the pallet for me, but I scored one nonetheless. ::Grinning ear-to-ear:: They have 21 left(7 Cases), but they are not out yet, so I'd try this weekend, or go and talk to someone in the Toy Dept. Thanks to the helpful employees there, especially Stacy in Toys, who just made my weekend. I can't believe that I was actually able to buy this aweome Exclusive in a WM store...

Reminder that they are non-replenishable, meaning that once they're gone, they're gone. They are supposed to be getting listed on the WM site soon, too.

Asisde from Dirge and Bludgeon, I think I'm set for the year. :grin:

I checked Belleville walmart last night. They apparently have 15 MP Skywarps.. just no one knows were they are. I don't know when they'll be putting them out. I was a tad annoyed. I don't know if Canton has any. Saline Walmart doesn't have any on had yet.

After several wasted trips, false information (the most absurd of which was when I was told by an employee to be at the GR Alpine store on Saturday night because Skywarp was going to be released at midnight - of course, when I got there, no one knew a thing), and general frustration with the lack of customer service skills possessed by the average Wal-Mart employee, I was able to track down MP Skywarp at the Holland Supercenter. Many thanks to Joe who, even though toys is not his department, dug through some pallets for me and found them.

It's funny how at three different Wal-Marts, I got pretty much the same reaction from employees who tried every trick in the book to deflect my requests for help and get out of actually having to assist a customer. I wonder if they actually go through training for that at orientation. :-P

you will at the whitelake walmart. of course it is tucked inside one of those promotional aisle-way islands and is facing away from traffic and the toy section....but it's there! Just got one....he's gonna be staying in the box though.

The Belleville WM had 4 MP Skywarps as of three hours ago. They also had a few of the Skids/Arcee/Mikaela HA sets which I hadn't seen before.

its under the fan fiction, by carriemus prime.... She has one weak chapter(I feel), which she kind of acknowledges, but other than that...it is jaw droppingly good! Take a look and at least give it a chapter or two.

the one I got has very good paint apps and tight joints.

I went to the Henry Ford Museum yesterday. I've never been there before. The museum itself was really neat. The Lego exhibit they have wasn't that great. There was a few display cases with some really neat custom built structures. And some OLD school space legos. The rest of it was geared towards kids not much older than 5. We went to greenfield village too. That was neat. All and all, it's a really neat place. The company I was with was better though :grin:

Totally second the lego exhibit comments. The sears tower and other modernized skyscrapers were cool as hell(too bad they don't sell those types of kits...they'd make a killing), but overall it was a disappointment. Loved the old(my generation)space legos too. My date was pretty good too....my son!
