That's what some of my fellow nerds call "The cost of having it first". They felt no such remorse when the iPhone dropped in price, for example.

Yeesh, they really sat on a lot of stock when the Movie stuff was released, Universe Voyagers and Ultras are popping up everywhere.
Went to the Dearborn TRU today hoping to score a Vector Prime or two for the cache, but all the had was a few Dropshots. But I broke down and picked up Pinkimus Prime for $34.99, to keep as a sealed piece. They had lots of them, the sale runs today and tomorrow.
Also hit the Allen Park Target and grabbed a second Leo Prime, and a DCUC Booster Gold.

saw two new sets I didn't know were coming or even existed....war on the water and war of data (????not sure the exact names...) walmart exclusives. Saw them at the walmart off of 96 north of wixom, south of brighton...

Those are actually repackaged Target Exlusives from the first Movie, nice ones, too. I've seen quite a few of them myself. It's a great deal, but I have them already, so they're a no-go for me.

It's not really a Transformer per se, but it transforms so I thought I'd mention it here.
As I gave the original away to a friend a long time ago, but always liked the design, I jumped at the chance to pick up the new Dino Megazord from the 2010 Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers line. It's slightly smaller than the original and I don't really like that some parts have been rubberized (the sword?!? C'mon man!), but it's a good representation overall.
I may start doing some weathing tests, give this sucker an accurate paint job.

yes the price of Defender was a huge suprise to me. I thought it would be at least $100 but more likely $120 especially with the die-cast parts. Also wasn't the protector armor planed for this month? I know FP usually runs about a month or two behind but i havent heard anything about preorders or nuthin! COME ON! my Classics Hot Rod needs some clothes! lol

Was out doing a little last minute shopping today (helping my ex pick out some Transformers for the son of a coworker, actually -- a little boy who wasn't going to have a Christmas is now getting Animated Blurr and Jazz)... store shelves are a mess, but there are certainly a lot of movie figures still out there.
Weather permitting, I'll be seeing everyone at Xtrava on Sunday~ Highbeam, I have your stuff and Andrew, I do need that 1st Movie Optimus stomper or whatever he is. (And I've made Ronda make me a special list of all her Primes so I can just print it out for future reference - she has 53 of them.)

Got a few RPM's, and some Hot Wheels diecast "Sideswipe" Corvettes

Yeah, I like my HA Sideswipe except for the massive backpack and the doors tend to slide out of their joints. They prolly could've spent some more time on his design, but he makes for an excellent car mode, which is what I keep him displayed as.
Still gotta get HA Skids. Prolly wait til they put out Barricade and/or Leader Starscream before I start adding onto my collection again. Holiday sales plus my employee discount has been good to me in adding to some of my other collections.
