Andrew they had TONS of DCU Classics Power girl, and Forager there.


I agree that Bludgeon is the best ROTF figure. Incredibly well done. great in both modes.
I like Dirge too. nice little homage to G1 Dirge.

did anyone go to xtravacon today? I didn't realize it was today until late last night. I had too much stuff to do today to go.

Arrghghgh We're in our new building. Management says nothing on the outside of our cubes. Don't know about stuff above our cubes. How will I display my MP boxes if I can't have those in my cube??? :?

at lease, so far, we can still have stuff on the inside. I'm bringing in my big box of Transformers tomorrow. Hopefully I can still have those.

So while waiting for my cousin to get off of work at Wally World, I went to the TF section of the toy isle. I had no intention to buy any but my friend said the new figures were out in the stores, so I wanted to see what inevitable repaints they had to offer. I saw Bludgeon of all things sitting on the shelf. I had to pinch myself, then slap myself, then pinch myself again, and finally do a 'Spanky Double Take'. I did not hesitate to grab the box and make for the cash register. I had no idea such a figure existed as I check the TF news sparingly these days. So you can imagine the surprise on my face. needless to say, I am now a proud owner of this figure and I have to say that it is the best Voyager I have ever owned, if not the best TF I have ever owned. Even if you are not a fan of Decepticons, this is probably the only RotF figure I can wholeheartedly recommend without hesitation.

In case you are wondering, it was the Wal-Mart in Charlotte. And there was one left when I saw him. I tucked him in the back of the group if anyone was looking.

Bludgeon has sort of a cult following. He's a pretender with a skeleton headed samurai body, and a small tank transformers inside.

He was fairly big in the Marvel G2 comics, and played a small role in Marvel G1 comics, but was featured on the final cover of the original Marvel G1 series.

He made a BIG comeback in IDW's Stormbringer series, and that design kind of brought him back to the forefront of people's minds.

Went to the grand blanc walmart and they threw all the tf's on the back wall with all the misc. stuff....boxes everywhere. they also took down the new and old deluxe display they had...not sure what is going on there. also went to the flint walmart and it looked like they were closing down the toy section....not sure what is happening up here. :?:

They are making changes to the planogram(toy section layout). All stores do this right after the holiday.

yeah, I've seen changes and moves and revamps, but this just seemed different....especially in flint..the toy section was almost empty. Ultimately, you're probably right....oh, I know....they are getting ready to put out a bunch of bludgeons, recons, mindwipes and PAOP's!! :grin:

Well if it's what I am thinkin, they are probably doing the after holiday reset in the toy department. I mean you can almost always expect one in Jan or Feb. Buuut ya never know.

Canton Ford Rd. Target had a couple of Bludgeon's and the new NEST wave of deluxes.

Canton Walmart had the Walmart Ex DCU set with Robotman, Beast Boy, Movie Batman, Power Girl, Forager, and Manbat. Only one of each.

Sell them at Extravacon... like everyone else will be. Although, I don't have a Cannon BBee, so I might be keeping that one. And the Swave is not horribly colored...

i just might get the 2pack just for the BB. the heads to the other rotf BB s freak me out. damn bug eyed heads. but i will then have a second soundwave to sell. and 2 more BBs. hell its to much work.

Got the NEST pack today at the Dearborn TRU, there were 3 left as of noon today.

I don't have the Cannon BB mold, and the Soundwave does have a pretty bitchin' paint job. All in all, not bad for a twenty. And now I get Recon Ravage.

And Recon Ironhide turned out nice, the new/extra weapons are cool, and the retooling is well-executed. New head sculpt, and he's got a ball-jointed head, unlike his predecessors, although mine pops off too easily. Now if they would just give us that red repaint...

Looking at that Boltflash figure... I definitely wouldn't mind having a larger scale F-14 Transformer. That's still my favorite jet by far.
