Wow, that's just sad. Odd thing is, the first two results on Google for "wizzywig" would seem to indicate that they're still there.

In happier news, from the seen-around-town department, I just finished reading Green Lantern 56 and I thought this was kind of fun:

Not a very surprising reference considering Geoff Johns is from around here (Clarkston?) but that's a rather humorous misrepresentation of the population.

Another place, not very near Ann Arbor, that has a lot of Transformers, anything from G1 to present, is Time Traveler's in Berkley, MI. It's probably close to an hour from Ann Arbor, depending on the time of day. They're somewhat overpriced, but they have tons of stuff. One of the guys that works there doesn't really understand good customer service, but the other people I've interacted with there are nice.

Pff. Time Traveler's is an armpit covered in 2-inches of dust. Mike Lester is only slightly more respected than Dennis from Wonderworld and it's only because Mike won't shut up.

Time travelers is awesome...they got a lot of stuff....but you're right about the prices and the customer service.

That's the comic shop I frequent. I usually just get new issues or raid their $0.50 comic bin, but once in a while they'll have a figure I'm looking for too. Their used Transformers section is kinda scary.

They do have a LOT of stuff, so definitely worth a look. Customer service.. eh. They know me there by now, lol. We chit chat, I have no complaints. He's given me random little deals just cuz I frequent the place.

Target in Livonia between 7-8 mile (and on Haggerty), has reset and has the new TF packs out. Picked up a couple (cade and swipe, and Arcee and tailwhip), wave one HFTD deluxes, wave one Generations, wave 1 HFTD legends, Leader scream, new joes, and joe vehicles, and I grabbed a 3 3/4 inch Marvel Juggernaut!

Fun to see new stuff on the shelf. Oh I grabbed Firefly and Snowjob. No Dusty or Alley Viper in sight. Otherwise they had Duke, Beachhead, SEyes, ans Sshadow.

Mechs, and the Ghosthawk, and Dreadnok cycle were there.

Canton Walmart had some new stuff. Wave 1 Generations, Wave 1 HFTD deluxes, one voyager ratchet I think and some legends figures. Still lots of ROTF tuner Mudflaps. Those will never go away

Same deal at the Plymouth Rd Livonia Target.

Seems like the new 7-mile Walmart is open now. I haven't ventured inside yet. Perhaps later today. The big banner on the front of the building indicates some sort of "grand opening" event scheduled for Wednesday at 8am.

I stopped by the TRU and Target just off I-94 in Jackson yesterday evening and both stores were fully stocked with the new lines. I picked up Hubcap, legends Ravage, and HA Jazz (loooove!!!). I picked up my leader Starscream that was site-to-store delivered to the local Walmart earlier in the week. For $30, it was a steal :D He rocks, but I wish he wasn't all tattooed.

I think there's an international one that comes in the first film's color scheme. I saw it being reviewed on some YouTube page.

Good ol' Peaugh. I just wish I'd known about this before I got mine. Oh well. The tattoos really help accentuate his details in robot mode, so whatever.

I found a Deluxe Sideways on clearance today, so I picked him up. I'll be giving him his proper paint job at some point, I've been wanting to do that since I first noticed the difference, but I didn't wanna wreck the one I got. Not sure when I'll do it, but I'll definitely post my results.

found the same as everyone. tru in flint has 1 bb ops left and the targets and kmarts are all stocked up. saw a giganta dcuc baf at target on miller...oh god if I ran into a gentlemen ghost...they don't have a smilie on the right to materialize that...but of course...no go..can't remember which one it was, but it was surprising..since it's the first one I've seen on the shelves at a target. one could hope they have them out there, and since so many stores are behind on the waves...maybe it's coming.

Guess I should pay closer attention

I never bothered to look at the "Duke" figures I saw the other day, guess one of them was Dusty since I was standing there as the employee un-boxed them. Wish I'd seen it now, probably would have bought it.

I have a bad habit of glazing over Duke, Cobra Commander, Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Destro figures since they are all you usually see :D

Certainly agree with TFPK. SS, SE, Duke, Destro, and CC, rarely get a second look from me either. The SS does look interesting as does the Duke though.

Well, that was kind of a boring 2000 post. I didn't realize it was my 2000 post. I don't even know what sub group you get to be at 2000. I'm now on the News Crew here so it doesn't say the sub group under my screen name anymore. Well, it's time to watch Mad Men...

never saw brawn in store and inferno took forever to get in my area. your best bet if no one here has them, try www.tfw2005.com 's michigan thread. i know a couple guys there that might have an extra inferno.
