For me, he's going to have to wait. At work, I've got one of the new Star Wars AT-AT walkers on hold, on sale this week for $10 off (plus my discount). Gotta have priorities.

I agree! the new AT-AT is awesome!! I ordered one through my store for the employee discount as well... but because its a comic store and we have to go through Diamond for a distributor, mine isn't scheduled to arrive until the end of September

I can post some pics when I get it, if you guys want. I'll try not to derail the topic, but it IS a giant lumbering vehicle/robot...
I have a tape measure set up over on the shelf I'm going to put it on. I can't get over how tall it's going to be.
Wherever I live next is going to need one heck of a display room.

Vapes, that AT-AT is a freaking BEAST! I want one but I am going to wait until....TRU, I think? TRU is doing the exclusive vintage box.

You are right about the AT-AT being a beast, haha. I just finished setting it up, I'll be back with pics later. =)
(It's bigger than my dog!)

I did indeed. Thanks again for posting for me. I'm going to have to work up the nerve to open him. He just looks so cool in the box! I'm not usually a fan of odd-shaped boxes but I like how they didn't waste a whole lot of space.

Totally agree...the box is awesome for display purposes....I have my other grim in dino form now, but I may just put him in bot form and put the box next to him..
On a side note, I found an awesome container to hold 6" figs!! It has not been easy, since most divided storage containers are about 2 inches apart rather than 3....and it's near impossible to find one proportional...etc..etc.. ..anyway, it has 8 sections which are all about 6.5" X 3" but it is a little deeper than I wanted at 6.5"...but if you don't mind putting more than one(several actually) figure in a slot...it could really be nice. Anyway, found it at michaels...I can put up the brand and upc if anyone wants it....oh yeah, $17.00...but if you consider the amount of space and it's proportions...a lot better than a bunch of plastic bags! It's clear plastic as well.

Pics please because I'm definitely interested! I finally found individual plastic display cases at Michaels for 1:64 scale cars which made me insanely happy. Must know!

I found a bunch of display containers here
http://www.theearthtoymall.com/discas.html
bought a few of the extra large loose figure containers...they're nice and could probably be used for motu or something a little larger like that...but way too big for 6"...and their large loose figure containers are 5.25"...what??...I did find 8" containers(at another site) that are very similar and they would probably work good with motu's and marvel/dc 6"'ers.....you would just have to set your walls up like a retail store..

this is the site that shows the containers I bought...more for consolidated storage, rather than display...wanna see my other batman figs (pulls out the container and opens) here you go.
http://craft.artbin.com/scrapnrubstamp_ ... asp#6997ab
The ones I bought were actually 6990mb..but the 6990ab is the same. They had them on sale for 17 and some change(almost impossible to find...stacked up on some shelves way in the back corner)...I will try and put up some pics...my wife manages the camera and the downloading of pics...but I'll see what I can do. Just loaded up some of the containers today..they're nice...turned some into 4 compartment slots to store the larger figs....I want to organize them a little better in the future and maybe put labels on....so far love 'em.

Very nice display, I find myself slightly envious.

Nice. I've seen stuff like this around, but this seems as good a site as any. I like those wrestling ones, they're actually big enough to hold my SeaQuest figures, whose cards are 10-1/4 x 7-3/4.
That's right. SeaQuest.

It's a shame, but reprolabels will no doubt print a fixed label.
