Okay, this was mentioned briefly in another thread and it got me thinking.

Who did Alpha Trion rebuild Dion into?
Ultra Magnus?
Ironhide?
???

Anybody with decisive evidence? Or indecisive evidence? Or just your own opinion?

It was mentioned by me. YAY!

1. Dion became Ultra Magnus

2. Dion became Ironhide.

3. Dion became Huffer.

Offically Dion is shown in the cartoon to be dead. His body is still lieing on the ground in that same spot later in that episode.

Unoffically I think he was just grabed later and rebuilt as Huffer.

"Why Huffer?"

Because if you look at Ariel and Elita-One they have the same coloring and Elita looks like she transforms into some kind of truck (Simular to Optimus with the smoke stacks on her shoulders).

If you look at Orian Pax and Optimus Prime they have the same coloring and Optimus is a truck.

Who of all the Autobots has the same coloring as Dion and transforms into a truck?

You should watch "The Search for Alpha Trion", Elita-One doesn't transform into a truck, what we see of her vehicle mode looks more like a race car like Hot Rod.

My theory is that Alpha didn't rebuild Dion because he didn't have to - Dion was just pretending to be dead. He decided Orion was whacked in the head for worshipping Megatron, and Ariel even more whacked for hanging out with Orion, so he left Cybertron and traveled the galaxy searching for the meaning of life. Roughly nine million years later, he got himself an early Pretender shell, landed on Earth in the 1950s, and became a pop star with such hits as "Runaround Sue", "Ruby Baby", "The Wanderer", and "Abraham, Martin & John".

Dreamwave gave us a tease that Ultra Magnus may be Dion by calling the security team that Ultra Magnus was in command of Security team Dion.
