Okay I know it's not exactly Transformers related, but I really wanted to share a project Fox and I decided to work on.

He could see it now...The lights, the cheering of the fans filling the stadium with a sonic boom of applause. This was it, this was his moment to shine...

"YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!" a voiced screamed from downstairs. Zach's dream bubble suddenly popped as the teen shot up out of his slumber.

"Oh shoot!" He said as he threw the covers off himself, "That's today!" The teen frantically began to get ready, stuffing his new backpack full of things he'll need for the long journey he was going to undergo. His lucky hat was thrown over his blonde hair and he grabbed his red jacket from the back of the chair as he rushed out his room and down the staircase.

"Hurry up, honey," the boy's mother exclaimed as she placed a plate of waffles on the table, "You're running late for your meeting with the professor."

"I know!" Zach retorted as he picked up a couple of the waffles from the plate. "Okay, I need to go before he thinks I ditched. I'll come right back after I talk to him!" He said as he rushed out the door. The boy was nearly blinded by the intense sunlight, but it didn't set him back as he rushed off towards the north end of town. His mother came out the door shortly after he took off.

"Zach!" She yelled from the front porch of the house, "Don't forget to get Fox on your way!"

Zach heard his mother's command as he continued to run north. Lucky for him, Fox did live close to the Professor's laboratory. Upon reaching Fox's house, Zach knocked on the front door. He was panting and trying to catch his breath when Fox's mother answered the door.

"Running late are we, Zachary?" The woman asked sarcastically as she looked at the tiring teen.

"Morning Mrs. Swan...I'm looking for Fox...We got that...Appointment...With Elm." Zach replied trying to catch his breath.

"I'll bet. She just left actually, not too long ago."

"Ugh...Thanks anyways Mrs. S!"

Zach burst into the doorway of Elm's laboratory. He rushed over to Professor Elm's side and tried to explain his tardiness to the Professor.

"Oh that was today?" The Professor exclaimed, "I must of forgotten completely!"

So after sitting through a long and boring lecture about how Pokemon share bonds with humans and the rest of the usual Pokemon pep-talk, Elm showed Zach his 3 choices of Pokemon to choose from. Zach reached out and grabbed the pokeball in the middle of the trio, inside it contained the Fire Type, Cyndaquil. Upon choosing, the Pokemon burst from its capsule and stood beside its new trainer.

Elm finished up his Poke-lecture and sent Zach off into the Johto region.

"Say Professor," Zach asked as he began to walk out the door, "Have you seen Fox around here?"

"Oh yeah she already stopped by. She wanted me to tell you that she is waiting just outside of town for ya."

Zach and his new acquaintance walked into the tall grass of Route 29. Here is where their journey starts...

Fox sat down next to the tall grass, waiting for her neighbor to come and join her. She sighed irately, rubbing the crusted sleep out of her eyes. Her newly obtained Cyndaquil sat in the grass, basking in the sun's heat. A flicker of movement caught her eye and she jolted to her feet, much to her Cyndaquil's displeasure. It settled in again by her feet.

"You're late..." Fox grumbled at Zach, "I got up early so I wouldn't be late. Early. I am a late riser, Zach."

With a sigh, Fox shook off her grumpiness and put her hands on her hips as she leaned over to take a look at the pokemon by Zach's side. She walked over to it and knelt down, a smile slowly spreading over her face. She petted the Cyndaquil happily on the head.

"Hi there, little guy! You're a sweet one, aren't you?"

Fox stood and grinned sheepishly at Zach. "Ah, well...I like fire type pokemon." Walking back over to her own Cyndaquil and picking it up, Fox was careful to hold the Cyndaquil's flames away from her body. She walked back over to Zach with her pokemon in her arms.

"This girl is Flamewar," Fox said as the little Cyndaquil in her arms glanced sleepily back to Zach.

"So what say you we get going? I'm ready," Fox said as she strode into the tall grass. "By the way...what's your goal? What are you trying to do with your pokemon?"

I owned SoulSilver once upon a time, and it was a great game. I had a ton of fun playing it. Had me a shiny crobat (and you wouldn't believe the luck I had; I wanted to raise a crobat!) and a shiny onix. I also cherished my rhyperior (man, he was a bruiser).

Then I sold it.

Sort of wished I hadn't now.

I've no idea what a "nuzlocke" is, so I should probably do the smart thing and look it up.

Interesting story, though, and I would like to see how this turns out.
