Weapon: Double-Barreled Plasma Shell Shotgun
its like buying a console or a PC. Getting them when they first come out is bad, cause they're generally rushed and bug ridden.

The same models that come out say a year or two from now, will be free of the original bugs that plagued the original models.

haven't really heard this be the case with Transformers. Generally we see what comes out of the mold and that's the way it is. Can you site some examples?

Got Megatron and transformed him to Gun Mode in 10 Minutes :D

This figure is awesome and finally own the Gun Version of him, but still want the original. This guy is great, I'll buy him if you are a fan of the original.

Sadly, still waiting for my Unmodified version, and when he comes, looks like he will be Ebayed, becausse the BBTS Plug was easy to unplug with no damage to the toy other then the barrel needing a good cleaning.

If you get him don't transform him. The plastic clips on both the thigh plates and the four clips above the trigger break rather easily when you transform him into a p38. You are warned.

I don't think that will happen. eBay has banned the sale of ALL MP Megatron figures.

I really don't know what people are talking about when they say Ebay has banned the sale of MP Megatron I was on Ebay today and found at least 7 listings for Masterpiece Megatron. I am still patiently waiting for mine to arive hopefully it will arrive sometime within the next week.

I've had mine for a few days now, and he really does have a prescence on my Megatron shelf. It's the same with my two MP Primes, they are the ones that really stand out amongst all the others.

And no, it's not because they're taller than the rest either!!!

I'll have to find some replacement parts for mine in the future. Like the right front leg that has all upper pegs attacted to the trigger. Broke the smaller upper peg there transforming him. The trigger is not broken. I'll have to replace part of the front leg to do it. Cause the pin that attaches the trigger doesn't come off. Also the left thigh plate cause I broke the peg there too. It will be a great while until I can find parts for Mp Megatron on Ebay. I still have the two small broken pegs to glue them back but I'm concern if the plastic weld glue doesn't hold up or if it makes a noticable spewy glue mess. I know how to transform him without a problem but I won't be doing it anymore cause of the small weak pegs on the thighs and the trigger. Heck I won't be transforming my dvd edition Optimus Prime anymore either.

I feel your pain, but it wanes in time, I have grown to love this version of Megatron, and I am now convinced that he is the best representation to date of the Generation one Megatron.. I love him.. he's awesome!!! the legs actually grow on you and posing him in various action poses actually comes out quite nicely..

yeah my initial reaction to seeing MP Megatron was that the pegs on the hips, back and shoulders were very fragile and should have been cast in diecast..

You also worry about not breaking his chest down below like the original one. Since you got to push up his chest even harder when transforming him back. Pushing it down isn't the problem. It's pushing it up that is. His elbows ,the plastic there gets scraped when his arms are facing down while popping them off the shoulder. Got to face the arms foward instead. While doing it. Transforming him is a real hassel. Even Mp Optimus Prime is built better than him.

Ultimately Prime is an easier figure to transform as he turns into a box with wheels. For someone to put the level of detail into Megatron's alt. mode is amazing.
