There was a big design issue with Talon, and if I remember correctly, he went through a complete re-design. That's one of the reasons for the delay.
In reading Blurrz's response in the not-Computron thread, it made me realize that MMC may be the first company to put out a combiner figure that doesn't have to have fixes released later, and my not ever have an add-on. (Though, does Felisaber count as an addon?) It is readilly apparent that MMC is more concerned with putting out a quality product than rushing figures to market. I really like and respect that!
Can you explain more? What were the fixes or add-ons for Green Giant or MakeToys Menasor?

I guess I was thinking about TFC in particular. I didn't get Giant. Was there an add-on set? Did they have some QC issues? If not, I'll apologize to MakeToys as they would be the first. (I did get MakeToys G2 Tanker add-on and that was decent, though I had problems with the LED setup.)
Unique Toys seemed to have issues with the Predaking parts so far.
MakeToys Menasor? I only thought FP was putting out Menasor and they are not done yet.
I think that's it for the combiners, except for the FP add-ons, which I was not referring to at all.
My overall point is that I love the fact that MMC is taking the time to get this stuff right. We could have had a bad Talon right now, or we can wait and get a Talon done right.

If this is still accurate, the order is:
Bovis
Leo Dux
Fortis
Talon
Tigris
Felisaber

Has there been any word on Tigris/Felisaber being used as the backpack? They have the connecting piece after all. Just a matter of whether or not they have the connectors for the wings. Kinda defeats the purpose of not having to remove Talon's wings, but might be an option for a beefier Predaking without the mismatched colours.Agamemnon wrote:The colors definitely scream Saber-tooth Cat and are a great way to differentiate from Tigris. However, the colors are enough different from Talon that I am unsure of replacing the arm. Maybe I just buy two Tigris figures. I would love to see some pics of Feral Rex both with the more traditional config and with Felisaber/full Talon backpack to help make the decision.

The upcoming comic for Bovis, art by Jordy wong, story by Ceno Kibble. The effort that we put in our comic production won't lose to the figures'.
What was the complaint? I couldn't be bothered sifting through all the pages in the thread.xyl360 wrote:If MMC had listened when people like me complained about the legs/feet, it would have helped, but they didn't.

I can see people not liking the beast legsThat Bot wrote:I believe his complaint is that the animal legs are too spindly while the robot and combined legs are too beefy. If the beast hind legs (mainly on Tantrum and Headstrong) could push in or fold behind the figure to make the legs a little thinner, he would have been happier.
Yeah, I remember (sorta) some comments, but couldn't remember any major backlash about them. The beefy base is looking better all the timemegatronus wrote:Arctorro wrote:What was the complaint? I saw some comments, but nothing in the form of formal complaints. MMC is responsive on their Facebook page, and at the very least they are likely to address concerns directly via that medium.
The more I see color shots, the less bothered I am by the legs. They just sort of blend in, and the beefy base is growing on me.

Definitely! Especially now that I've got Hexatron in hand (sorry, I know I'm rubbing it in a little), I'm psyched to get the Feral Cons in hand. The quality, size, and really nice neo-TF-esque aesthetic are really doing it for me.
From what I've seen of Ares, I'll definitely take those animal alt-modes, but the robot modes are just so "meh" to me. And if the proportions are anything like Uranos... well, let's just say I'm excited for Feral Rex!
william-james88 wrote:So that would also be the case for Predaking, who is also six members.
Arctorro wrote:As for Ares proportions, I would be fine if he is like Uranos. It is the individual modes that I do not like. Razor-claw is just gigantic compared to the others Preds, with every other combiner team I like it, but the Preds need to be a bit closer in size to each other. Not to mention the aesthetics of the Feralcons just appeal to me more.

It is impressive isn't it, that's why I'm hoping MMC do the Terrorcons nextThat Bot wrote:I appreciate MMC's efforts to keep Razorclaw close to scale with the others. It's pretty impressive what they've done to keep him proportional in bot and torso modes.

Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath he could feel
A bolt of fear went through him as they thundered through the sky
For he saw the Riders coming hard and he heard their mournful cry

I want to get like 20 of Bovis and hang them from the ceiling in my office.
