R-04 Leo Dux - Squadron Commander premiered today at Metrocon! Sadly no prototypes, and the render itself was rather dark, but I hope that things turned out ok.

I also had a chance to chat with one of MMC's designers who said that the Protectobots are in early conceptual stage.

Leo Dux is looking pretty awesome. Since we're nearing Q2 2013, I'm hoping that a more narrowed down ship date for Talon is offered soon.

I agree with Stormrider that the alt mode is a bit disappointing but since my figure may never see this mode, I don't really care. It's all about the gestalt mode here!

I rather like them revealing Razorclaw as the next one in the lineup. it means we can get Preadking going a little bit quicker.

I like it. Sort of a gentle little bitch-slap challenge to TFC for attempting to pull from their market and they did it without insinuating sexual relations between people and animals. ;)^

I find it interesting they have the sixth member sitting on the shoulder like its a sout when it supposed to be an arm roughly seven inch in robot mode.

If I had to take an educated guess, I'd say that's Divebomb on the shoulder. Since the left and right arms look so similar, I'd venture a guess the sixth member, the Saber-tooth Tiger, is one of the arms here.

I'm with you. I had pictured Divebomb as a backpack with the wings still attached to Divebomb's back. I'm not sure what the purpose is for the shoulder hump. I guess we'll have to wait for clearer pictures.
