Me (and my wallet) are happy to wait

So where exactly are the talons ? On a boat ? In a shipping crate not being moved due to these "disputes" ? Is the crate in America ? Or are these disputes in china and the crate is still there ? My guess is its a home grown problem and they are sitting in some ship yard with thousands of other crates. The Brits all got their talons, so I doubt this has anything to do with them getting out of china.

i hope this gets solved fast, it's annoying me a lot. everyone else and their mother here in europe already has talon (and columpio, for that matter) and mine's not even in stock at bbts yet

The disputes are in American ports. Supposedly(according to BBTS), the crates have been rerouted to a port not experiencing them. In addition, some gaming companies that I've got contacts in are reporting higher than usual occurrences of crates being tagged for inspection(thus leading to delays for them), so that could be a factor, as well.

This would explain why I got a email from TRU stating my Generations Leader Jetfire Pre-order release date has been pushed back a few weeks.

Surprised the President and the Government hasn't stepped in yet to end this strike and force everyone back to work.

This also explains why I haven't seen any newer Hasbro 30th toys on store shelves yet.

Think this is why people hate Unions so much, Due to them going on strike so much and forcing the economy to a stand still.

This is ridiculous, It's Almost the Christmas buying season and retailers need their stores stocked with newer products. The last quarter of any year is when retailers make the bulk of their profits.

I blame America as their should be more than one international pier on more coast that deals with international shipping from those overseas boats with shipping containers on them. The east Coast can easily be set up with international piers to accept these boats but their is all this red tape from the government that prevents this, it's more or less a budgets money issue.

It goes without saying, After the strike ends. The piers are going to be back logged with so many shipping containers that need to be unloaded. the work force won't be able to handle it. their will be added chaos, confusions, delays and theft.

My apologies, Feral Rex fans. I did not ship my POL yesterday. I will be shipping it tomorrow. (This was due to when the product would be shipped to my location and my extended holiday this coming weekend.) So, blame me for Talon not arriving to BBTS today.

Lol, I was serious when I mentioned the unions might have a hand in this fiasco. Unfortunatly the shipping companies are not employed by the federal government so they are free to strike. Strikes usually end when wallets are empty. Everyone has their buckling point when they have no choice but to throw in the towel. The reason this thread keeps getting derailed is because we have all ran out of things to discuss regarding the figure without having it in hand.

It's okay. I usually ship my loot once a month and was waiting for Talon to be in stock. However, I also wanted time to play with the other items so I already shipped. Not knowing when Talon or some other items scheduled for Aug (like Mania King) would actually get to BBTS, figured that would be the most prudent for me.

At this rate, Tigris will be in stock shortly after Talon and I'll just ship both of them out once available. That'll be pretty cool!

Then again, the only thing to discuss ever in this thread had always been "WHEN IS IT COMING OUT!?", discussions on Talon were kinda done when Kumastyle posted the review and by the time he arrives we'll be repeating the cycle with Tigris

Onto Talon...
Not much complaints from me about Talon, except for maybe his wings; while it's really great to have both sweeping/flapping joints it currently has, I kinda wish for a third point of articulation to allow rotation, but that's just me nitpicking. Overall it's exactly as it is in the review.

*pic to illustrate my point; we have the green/red axis, a 3rd swivel on the blue axis would've been awesome.


Also, with him holding the huge sword in hand, both joints on my LeoDux's tail piece can't handle the weight of the blade, so it just plops down at the slightest vibration. Nothing a few rubs of nail polish can't tighten though

Can't wait for Tigris to be released now!

I'm sorry... this was all just too much.

Dude... you do realize there are multiple ports on the West Coast? Even a modicum of research - hell, 5 seconds of googling - could have told you that.

While waiting for Talon and Tigris, couple days ago I finally have time to open my Leo Dux. Really! No kidding (and I still haven't opened my Powerdive, Whirl, and Roadbuster ).

On his upper thighs (above knee and below hip), what are the red joints doing over there? They are bendable like knee joint but for what? I've check many times and still don't know. Robot mode has it's own knee joints. Lion mode don't need joint at that part. Combined mode don't need it either since the knee join is at the connector. So any body know?

They're the combined mode thigh joints, add beat I figure.

Yes, just figured that out too after putting in to combined mode with the legs. It helps raising up the legs. Kind of a cheat joints. Thanks. (And man! It's huge!!)

I got Hasbro's Nightbeat, Windblade, etc set of 4 in my preorder and they got pushed back to September, too. Could be same issue? That means I will ship my POL when they all arrive. So maybe October?

I didnt say that. What I did say is that it wouldnt bother me if another union leader came up missing. It wouldnt bother me one bit. Theres a big difference between actually wishing someone harm and not being "bothered" by someone being held accountable for their actions. Im sure these petty labor disputes are holding up billions in our economy and costing some small business owners their livelihood if they are depending on a stalled shipment to survive. I have a strong anti union stance because of how things went down at my job. It isnt about me getting a toy, its about a private entity profiting off of others misfortune. But thats a discussion some members would rather not see discussed here. But I did want to take the time to answer your question.
