I'm with the consensus here, this has got to be an updated Barricade. The head, hands, and if you look close at the feet they share the same shape as Barricade's. Probably goes about changing his form like BB did in the first film. Gonna be interesting too, we've seen to Barricade cars on a trailer waaaay back when info started comin' though about the sequel.

As for the toy, decent. The red is a bit garish, and lacks any real paint detailing. Hopefully this is a test shot or something.

Not a chance in hell this is Barricade.

Even though barricade got totally smashed up by prime in the movie (off screen, after bone crusher, and hence why prime was so late to the city battle), i dont think he would completely change his robot form.

It has to be a new character, god knows who, but it would be too hard to explain why this is barricade. It just isn't logical. Though the Transformers are able to easily change their alt. modes, I am not aware that they can change there robot modes, or faces...? Sure it looks SIMILAR, but of course it does, its a Bayformer.

This is far too a different change from Barricade. Why everyone is saying this is Barricade, I'll have no idea. It clearly isn't.

Does anyone have any other guesses to who it may be? Completely new character to the verse', or and existing?

Frenzy was able to reconstruct himself from just a head, so it stands to reason that other Decepticons might be capable of the same thing.

The movie may even decide not to follow the comic, and he never actually got decapitated. I'm hoping that's the case as Barricade was one of the few things I liked about the movie.

TBH though, I'd rather he stay as a police cruiser than a silver thing, because his identity as a squad car makes up a significant part of his awesome.

This isn't the final production version, you can tell by the horrible red and the different grades of plastic. Plus the sell has censored something on the hood.

How come people think this is Barricade? It doesn't look like Barricade at all. Different head, different botmode etc. It is more likely that this is a different bot altogether.

keith david never did the voice of barricade it was a rumor from the first movie i think the same guy that did starscreams voice did barricade you can see the guy doing the voice over on youtube!

If this is Barricade I'm truly, sorely, dissapointed.
They should have switched him to a more..er..civilian 2010 Shelby GT500, or at least the 2010 Mustang GT.

Actually Keith David did voice Barricade in the games, but not the film. He was voiced by Jess Harnell in the film.

Oh, and I still think the Audi R8 is Barricade.
