Also, HELL YEAH GINRAI!
It's one of my favorie Transformers ever so for those who missed out now's your chance to get him!
EDIT:
Just saw the prices.
Astrotrain: 55$. NOPE! Especially for a tiny scout class figure.
Powermaster OP: 115$.
Ouch... I'm so glad to have obtained mine loose, 100% complete with sticker sheets and instructions for only 60$ plus 15$ of shipping. That was back in 2010 on Ebay. I applied the stickers of course and transformed him many times. Man I love it! 115$ for brand new is a little expensive, but you end up with a SUPREME class bot with lots of modes possible. If you dont have Ginrai, it's totally worth it.

About Ginrai
Not to mention its been severely "neutered" for safety concerns. You can get the "Child unfriendly" version at much lower prices.

I like the accessories "child unfriendly". So not only was it sharper, the springs fire the projectile with more strength.
As for the stacks, it's quite surprising that the original Ginrai has "shorter chromed stacks" over the Powermaster Optimus Prime having "longer unchromed stacks" (this time in reverse so surprise surprise no?)
And he had a biocard included (the Japanese re-issue which I own) and the classic Japanese grid red and white format.

I'll wait for Takara.

If the Takara one is way too much expensive, why not just buy the Hasbro version and a diecast long smokestacks mod kit?
Sure, it's a pain to mod, but well worth it.

And the Hasbro re-issue is the same as the Takara version (aside from the stacks). Unless, Hasbro uses another type of PVC/ABS material like the one used on the trailer of Optimus........
The Hasbro reissue of PM Optimus Prime w/ Apex Armor used the Takara smokestacks, which were always short.fenrir72 wrote:And the Hasbro re-issue is the same as the Takara version (aside from the stacks).
