A simple repaint won't do the character justice.
Not necessarily a repaint. It's just that if they keep repainting figs after already making a fig out of every possible character(like in the Movie line), why not Elita? Especially if Blackarachnia becomes Elita again at the end of the show, which I think definitely could happen.
