I hope this is one of the MP's that Hasbro wants to do for 25th anni. He'd be way cheaper to pick up for those of us in the U.S.

Speaking of articulation, would anyone care to speculate how good Grimlock's poseability will be?
Judging from the few pictures we've seen thus far, it looks like both bot mode and dino mode have a decent range of motion.
The bot mode legs alone are enough to give me hope.

So will we get a super-poseable MP like Prime?
Or will we get a not-so-poseable MP like Megatron and Starscream?

Wow, all those silly accessories and not his bigass gun?

It's gotta be in there, wtf?

I'll still get him, but come on.

Other than MP-01 Prime and the 2 extra Seekers, half the MPs so far have come without significant accessories they were either shown to have, or expected to come with...

MP-02: Trailer? I know it's an easy white repaint, but Ultra Magnus WAS missing what makes him Ultra Magnus, the armor/trailer
MP-03: Okay, not an expected accessory, but we were all disappointed that the crown/cape/shoulder pieces weren't included
MP-04: Roller?
MP-05: Stock and extension
MP-06: fine
MP-07: fine
MP-08: Gun

I know that JUSTiTOYS or Fans Projects will probably make the gun, but they really shouldn't have to make it.

Hopefully it's an oversight, as his gun is pretty standard, I'd say more than the stupid sword. I know I'd rather have the gun over the big red sword.

Great! He needs his gun. The LED functions are a nice touch, although they mean something that will eventually break down the road.

Oh well, it's cool while it lasts though!

I'm still convinced he's going to be pretty tall, but you think it's crap because of the possibility it's not as tall as MP Prime? Despite the fact it's otherwise a beautiful rendition of G1 Grimlock?

Or do you think it's crap because he doesn't have an apron, since I can totally understand that, what were Takara thinking.

Well, it looks like the photo is trying to imply that his tail wiggles... yaay wiggle! 8-}

Apart from that and his T-rex arms, he still seems to be an over-sized G1 Grimlock.

I'm sure MP Grimlock will be a hit at the nightclubs.

But, unfortunately, I don't have a G1 Grimlock (yet).
How poseable is that particular incarnation?
All the video reviews of G1 Grims make him seem like a typical stick figure.

Just from looking at him, he appears to be pretty articulate, almost on par with MP Prime, and especially compared to G1 Grimlock, whose only articulations were his knees and shoulders. All in all, this guy looks great to me. I really don't care if he's MP Prime sized or MP Seeker sized, either way it's one bigass Grimlock. Just in style alone, this guy looks better than any MP except Prime. While I find the drink tray hilarious, and the brain-transfer device somewhat funny, it's the crown that really gets my attention. Such a small, silly detail from the Marvel comics, I'm surprised Takara was even aware of it, but boy am I glad they decided to make it. I've got this guy on preorder, and his arrival will be a day of much celebration.

Now if only they'd give me an MP Shockwave or Galvatron.

I don't see anything in the description that indicates that he'll be the same height as a Seeker. The 30 cm robot mode is there. I think the Seeker size claim is false, at least in robot mode.

Regarding the figure itself - the dino mode is very poseable. I like the jointed dino arms and the tail that jointed as well. The has to be in there.
