What a horrible looking Megatron.
That's the first crappy Megatron I think I've ever seen!

I wonder why they didn't stick with the blue/silver combo that we've been seeing, I think he'd look alot better in those colors.

Otherwise, he is intresting, not a Megatron, but he is intresting.

How can Optimus look like the embodiment of awesome and yet Megatron look like the embodiment of suck?

Guess I won't be getting Megs, it's a real shame...

Oh man, that's just terrible. I honestly can't think of one thing I like about it. And, they called that Megatron??? No matter what you call it, it is an insult to our TF's. Even worse when you call it Megatron.

My question: what is the alt. mod supposed to be? I mean really, it looks like nothing at all. Did the alt. change from the proto pic in the movie, cause I havnen't seen the "updated Megatron" CGI.

His alt mode is supposed to be a cybertron jet. I think they changed the head on this one cuz I have an old prototype pic of him N prime without color and it looked better. Also I dont like the pink but regardless Im still gonna buy him since I buy all Leader Class Primes and Megatrons.

Damn, that does look like crap. I don't care for the character design overall but if a figure has a great sculpt and paint scheme I have no problem admitting so. That's absolutely not true with this one. I mean it looks nothing like the production art or the tie-in art we've seen! They've obviously changed the head from the older prototype we saw (the old one had the alien-queen tube head), but this one looks even worse in alt mode (the cover doesn't even hide his face anymore) and the the paintjob isn't going to do anything to bring out the details of his face in robot mode. And WTF happened to the silver coloration? Now it's going to be moulded in generic grey with touches of metallic blue and blotches of black w/ gold trim? And I'd really really hoped all the kibble under his wings was a mistransformation in the prototype pics. Apparently not....

Dude I totally agree, I hate the head change and the color but im still gonna buy this figure because his alt mode is more detailed than the voyager class megatron. I was expecting that most of the figure should have been metalic silver with black but i wasnt expecting this. Im so let down I was expecting way more from this figure

I think I know how Prime beats him in the movie.

Prime: Look at me Megatron with my flame design I look awesome.

Megatron: Yeah so...

Prime: How do you expect to fight me when you look like (Prime holds up a mirror) That?!?!?!?

Megatron: Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! (Head explodes)

BTW any TF that has shade of pink on them is not intimidating as far as I'm concerned.

5. Buy and repaint with Green and purple, and call him Quintesson Monster (what I'l be doing)
4. Buy and think Megs been Melted.
3. Buy and let MP Megs bitchslap him.
2. wait till retail and test what hapens wen you runn it over.

Well that would be very dificult since MP Megs so butyful (and realy complex it took me 35mins to transform him and for the first time ever I neded the manual ). And MP Megs is a gun and that is "unrealistic" and a dentists chair with wings is so very realistic!

Well I woud even prefur the Megatron that changed into a car than this this this thing!
