Does anyone remember this? I hope one of you can bring up a pic but i like Megs (beta,Prototype?) face much better than the one they went with. Its more Like the main (sauron?) Baddie from LOTR with Blue Eyes. I think it is much more menacing and wish they would of gone with it

If you have to make em Spaghettibots Mr. Bay I love the bottom pic aboves face rather than the one you chose and went with.
Anyone wanna take a energon fueled (haha) STAB at why they changed it last minute? WAAAY back (haha) in 2007 i also remember seeing The ToyMold with this face too

I agree. The one above (Normal) seems kinda BALD to me. In the movie it's cooler.

Seibertron himself (our esteemed site owner) led the charge against Megatron's then look/face, with other members of the fan community chiming in. They ended up changing it as a result.

IDK, I love it. Looks Just vicious as hell. Once i warmed up to bayformers design I Loved it. I must be the only one who likes it. Anyone?

Personally, I'm happier with the one they went with. Megs was actually kind of scary in that first flick.

I'm surprised. Megatron seemed to get more pitiful each film. I wish he stayed as formidable as the first the whole way thru. I didn't even understand why he had to be all wounded, Bumblebee, Starscream, Optimus, and pretty much everyone else healed from worse between movies, why did Megatron have to be so weak?

Anyways, Megs' original head was pretty cool, but not for him. Although, it ended up being on tons of merchandise anyway...

Well the Autobots had Ratchet to patch them up. It's possible that the Decepticons don't have a really good medic.

And even though I didn't care for Megatron's design. It was just a mash up of metal to me. That other more G1 looking design, that just looks like a Go Bot.
