I think a digibash is what you said AND going in and simply altering the true colors of the image. (Think of it like photoshopping a picture. Same concept... I think.)

Hmm I thought of an interesting one. Paint bumblebee up in "dark" hot rod's colors. (The ehobby black version with purple tinted windows.).

Or do bumblebee in nemesis prime colors.

And by bumblebee I mean the 2009 concept one, not the 1976 one.

Just wanted to see how he looked in black and metallic teal.

How about repainting a Movie Jazz into a Prowl? Complete with head mod.
