The blue repaint's going to make it a lot easier.

Excellent work on Soundwave!

The Blue is perfect too, looks a tonne better than the shades Hasbro chose for their own Ironhide repaint.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

Did you remove the spring on the chest?

Insane and just thinking that it's just a repaint, not even a head remold....

It is Ironide's head spun around, but it's also modified. I smoothed off the original face and built up the crest on the forehead and the mouth-plate.
I didn't do anything to the springs in his chest.
The only other structural work that I did to the body was smoothing out the chest-plate, "belt buckle" and the thighs. I also removed the Autobot symbol on the tailgate.
The gun in his hand got a flip-down handle and the one on his shoulder got the bulbs around the barrel carved off.

The head is done nicely. It's almost as good as a head remold.

This should teach Hasbro to at least modify Cliffjumper's head whenever he uses a BB body repaint.

Examples are: Classic Deluxe Cliffjumper, Movie Deluxe Cliffjumper.

Both of them are simply repaint with no modifications. Disappointing.

Any plans for this to go up on the 'bay?

Any will work, though Movie Leader would appreciate him the
most. :-?

I think he'd be too big for G1 and Classics Megatron.

But too small for Leader Megatron.

Probably suits well for Voyager Megatron.

Tom must be busy thinking of what sort of mini-bots that can go inside him, in place of the cassettes of yesteryears.

This guy looks awesome. I've been waiting to see someone turn Ironhide into Soundwave ever since people started noticing what was up with the back of Ironhide's head. I think it would be even cooler if you could get the weapons from Cybertron Soundwave and use those in place of Ironhide's canons somehow.

Amazing work. How did you create Soundwave's head?
EDIT: nevermind, I saw page 4 ;)

Any assembly shots?

No Autobot symbols here!

Here are some close-ups of the bracket that's holding on the gun and the new handle on the other one.

It even stores in an existing screw hole.

Could you do one on his nemesis, Blaster?

A lot of new attention to my old posts going on here. Thanks guys!
Not much to speak of in the way of WIP shots. He's mostly just paint and brackets.
Thanks a lot Devastator! I've been a fan of your work for along time now!
