No hot rod is better, rodimus's design sucks. Hot rod at least looked cool as a supercar.

Don't believe in the two pack, Starscream seems to be a possibility but personally I think it should be a Autobot, I mean there's just Prime, no I don't count Magnus a new character, and loads of Cons.
My guess is Mirage, he has a pretty high demand tease days and he's one of the first, or Grimlock.

I can confirm that an MP Op Megs Two-Pack HAS NOT been released yet.

AC Toys needs to lay off the wacky tobacky...I agree, these rumors are a bit hard to swallow. It doesn't make too much sense for Takara to release their own version of Anime correct Starscream, right after they sell the Hasbro version in Japan.

And the two pack sounds too huge to be true.

I agree, there is definitely a demand for an anime correct MP Starscream. Bt it would make more sense for Takara to sell their own version first instead of licensing the U.S. version from Hasbro.

The Hasbro version will water down the buying market among the Japanese consumers. Once people spend $100 for the Hasbro version, how many will want to shell out another $80 for the Takara version only months later. This will infuriate most buyers. MP-03 left a bad taste in many buyers mouths.

It wouldn't be smart for Takara to make that mistake twice. Consumer loyalty plays an important role in Japanese business marketing.

I certainly would like to have a Takara anime correct MP Starscream, because it will most likely be painted plastic, instead of colored plasitc like Hasbro. But I can't imagine this will happen until a while longer.

Well personally i don't think a 2-Pack Optimus and Megatron would be soo bad.. yes expensive, but I only own the MP-01, it would be nice to get optimus plus trailer and megatron together as a leader VS pack.. that would add the trailer and give me another Megatron to add to the colelction.. the perfect boxed set!!


Now, I don't think the requests for non-First appearance characters is ludicrous..Takara Tomy never said that their releases of Mastepieces would be straight from the Ark.. and to those who believe they are simply by pointing out their releases thus far as a track record.. your deluding yourself..

truth is Takara Tomy can release any Masterpiece toys they want..all we can do is speculate on what's next..

Now I will jump on the "first Appearance and Ark" theory if the next Autobot is a G-1 first episode character.. however if the next Autobot is Magnus Complete, Rodimus Prime, Hot Rod, or any other G-1 Movie or season 3 Bot...then consider your theory debunked in full...

I would like to say that a Thundercracker repaint is very likely and I would love to see that guy come out sometime soon.. I mean he doesn't have to come out next to finish the seekers off or anything.. they can save him for later..that way it breaks them up..and reinterests those who already bought the seekers in the mould again..


And as far as Starscream goes, if Takara Tomy decided to release him in their Black Boxes under their Masterpiece name as "Perfect Starscream" or "Animation Starscream" then I'd still buy him...

Takara is crazy about over using those molds.

ACToys generally has a high rate of accuracy and legitimacy.

Honestly guys here's why I would endorese Takara Tomy's decision to release an MP Optimus Prime WITH TRAILER, and Megatron 2-Pack at MSRP 300.00 USD.. the MP-04 on eBay is already selling at 400.00 to 500.00 USD, which is just Prime and the Trailer, which inn my opinion is simply rediculous.. the 300.00 upfront price would be just fine with me, because not only do I get Prime and his trailer at 100.00 less then the current unholy eBay rate, but I get megatron too.. it's not a bad thing.. even with shipping.. I feel the cost would be justified at 300.oo USD.. so I like it, and if it was to become a reality, i'd say way to go Takara Tomy.. and that's Money in the jar for savings!! oh yeah!!

We have MP Soundwave..practically...the Music label version is quite good. Not perfect, but very good.

WE have had a rash of Soundwave lately, one would think they would want to try another well before this one dries up.
