A new image surfaced online and while it looks as fake as can be, no one has been able to place that specific Optimus Prime figure so far. So it looks like a new Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime is coming out way. So this could be our next Transformers Movie Masterpiece toy. The image is from Weibo and was posted on Facebook's STFU page. I think Hasbro should stick to Studio Series and Generations, and let the bootleggers handle the masterpiece line.

With the exception of Ratchet, the last few years of their MP and MPM have been duds and turds.

Looks neat.One advantage this has over the Bumblebee one,is that this can use the finalized look intestead of concept art.

Except that no, they haven't - take a look at MPM Megatron, for instance - and besides that the bootleggers have not proven nearly as prolific with pseudo-MPMs as they have with G1 pseudo-MPs.

Now, I personally think this design is unworthy of getting even a One-step much less an MPM and that an MPM of ROTF Jolt would have been a better use of time and money, but that's because I resent Travis Knight's hijacking and will continue to resent it until they Bayverse is given a proper conclusion in some form.

If this ends up being true and looks good, I'll probably get it, if not I really don't care.

I for one actually really like the looks of MPM 10, with Rachet being my least favorite of the pair.

Wow, I never thought that I would agree with you, but I do. I was really hoping for Bonecrusher or Blackout or Brawl to get an MPM this year. But, just like how SS is a massive disappoint this year, the MPM line will be to.

I am still hoping that this image is fake since it literally came out of nowhere.

Little disappointing. This is what, the 5th masterpiece Optimus Prime (2nd MPM)? I get why they keep making him, and he'll probably look good next to Volkswagen Bumblebee, but was hoping for some more movie 1 Decepticons before we revisited OP again.

Joking aside, the two movies after that were a mess and didn't even make sense with the prior films' canon. You're going to be hard pressed to find many people who cared about where those films were going.

Furthermore, there's a few 3P figures out already that :HASBRO:

can take ideas from. Also, this MP got all the time to cook in the oven compared to the rushed Bug-Bee.

Looking forward any official reveals.

I don't really have an issue with them making an MPM Prime from that movie (even though I'm not interested), I just want them to finish the 07 cast first.

Rumors were that the MPMs for this year are 76 Camaro Bumblebee and a rerelease of Barricade, so I guess this could still fit in with the two new molds a year plan.

I acknowledge the flaws in these films,but there are many cool parts within.
Lockdown is a badass and Transformers being outlawed on Earth after the events of Dark of Moon seens a natural progression.
Hot Rod and Cogman are two highlights of The Last Knight for me.

Hasbro has just revealed its latest offering in the Transformers Movie Masterpiece line on their official Chinese social network channels. This is Optimus Prime as he looked like in the Bumblebee movie with the alt mode he had once he reached Earth (without trailer). He comes with a Matrix that can be place din the chest and looks great overall in robot mode. Alt mode suffers with some of the robot's leg kibble found in the back. The image are from The official Transformers Weibo page and the reveal was done in a video on Taobao.

Okay, possibly a dumb question having not seen all the movies, but did any of the movies involve the Matrix? I don't think so but not 100% sure. If not, then why are they including it for a MPM figure?

The matrix was in the 2nd and 3rd movies, but it didn't look like that.

Prime also wouldn't have had it at this point, it was hidden on Earth.

Well, I really wanted to hate this guy. When I figured out they were giving us the BB Optimus prime from leaks last week, I couldn’t have been more annoyed. There’s just SO many characters from the movies left that are screaming for MPM treatment, and they go for another Optimus. Typical.
With that being said, I really freaking dig this guy. No, he doesn’t look nearly as good as the other third party offerings, but he looks immensely more fun, he’s gonna be in scale with my other MPM’s, and he’s not gonna cost $300+ dollars. And as for me, I don’t know of a BB Optimus that can claim all 3 of those properly. I’m gonna happily get this guy and give hasbro a pass with giving us another optimus prime in the MPM line IF they choose this year’s MPM decepticon very carefully. We still need blackout, bone rusher and brawl from the first movie and we all know that’s the cast lineup they’ve been attempting to complete since they started this line. If they get distracted now by giving us some m BS Camero BB Movie Bumblebee for the 2nd figure this year, then I’ll be triggered.
But for now, I’m unexpectedly excited.

Hopefully the other MPM we get this year (if we keep the usual release schedule) is an 07 figure. Rumor is it's 76 Camaro Bumblebee, which would be awesome.

I agree that including the matrix is an odd choice but maybe it could have more to do with current live action movie plans. Still not keen on this design, I would have preferred it less G1 but c'est la vie

Prime looks good but also looks needlessly fiddly and complex like every other MPM figure. Ya know Target and Hasbro have a long history with exclusives so I'm not that surprised it's another Target exclusive, it's still going to probably be a pain to get though. Any guesses on price? I'll be surprised if this goes for less than $125.
