my attempt at a movie style maximal

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Postby RagingBull » Fri Oct 19, 2007 8:14 am

hey hey

this is my attempt at a movie style maximal although im not entirly satisfied ive hit the style on the head sorta thing, i think it looks more like the robot modes of transmetals

he transforms into a non transmetal or beast machine alt mode...just an ordinary bull.

his name is RagingBull and his bio is on my profile

feel free to check it out, opinions much welcomed.

I can see that working, but it wouldn't really fit in with the movie. Great pic though, like how you did the fur and such.

i'm a pretty huge fan of beastformers and i like every single attempt to create original bots with animal alt modes. this is very nice! it wouldn't look out of place in a Beast Wars episode. 8)

He looks really cool. The drawing reminds me of some of the design sketches of Transformers that look really cool, but end up getting changed so much in the final stages that they don't really look like the same bot.

That's a really cool sketch; I love the head especially. And while I agree that beast-bots probably wouldn't fit into the movie, you've definitely captured that aesthetic well.

You'll regret wanting a BW movie.
Maybe if RagingBull does characters, it'd be good, but the original has no contest.
