There are some things that can factor into "love at first sight." So I somewhat agree, but it hasn't happened for me yet. Not that it happens for everyone. For instance, there's a certain look and style that I'm attracted to. If I see a woman somewhere who fits my perception of "dead sexy," then likely I will like that woman. It's a mindset thing more than a physical thing. Your clothes and outward appearance generally reflect who you are on the inside. If one doesn't believe that, maybe he or she needs to get a bit of a makeover
But then I'm an unusual person, and I'm attracted to a more unusual (weird, crazy, strange) kind of woman. How she presents herself to the outside world represents who she is on the inside... I would hope. If any of this makes sense.

ok so if i follow you a quick translation would be that if the outside reflects the inside then to desire someone based on outter appearance then it may be true love and not lust as u are desiring the person that person hopes to put forward.
Whew what a mouthful.
Oh and Magnus u may believe in love at first sight if u experience it-otherwise i would imagine itll be very easy to be a critic

Yep. Fall of Sophomore year of High School. (Though the feeling set in after we talked for a few minutes, not on 'first sight' per se.)
We got married last winter.
Much of what falls between September 1999 and December 2006 is melodramatic and embarassing though, so I'll leave it at that.

Even though she is eye candy you don't want her around
Just being hot doesnt equate to love at first sight-I anit that shallow even in my regular non-love dating life i have chased my fair share of chubbies-personality does play a part.
But when u see someone and ur insides squeal the second u lay eyes on them u know ur on to a good thing.
I have seen some amazing chicks, but only once have my insides give that squeal
It might have been indigestion.
Anyway, the idea of love at first sight is actually kind of stupid, as it makes people jump to rash decisions sometimes, like running off and getting married and then realizing they have no idea who the person is. Might as well have picked up a stranger while you were drunk and married her, because it's potentially the same kind of roll of the dice.

I agree to that. romance makes people act stupid at times. Been there, I know how it is.

I think you can have immediate attraction and chemistry, and love can come shortly after, but falling "in love" takes time and experience to happen. After five years I can say I'm "in love" with my husband, but it took time and tribulation for that to occur. You have to go through good and bad times first.
But I definitely belive in lust at first sight.
