Hehe, not at all. It's not something I hate, I do enjoy cheesy things like that. I love Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for the unabashed embrace of classic mecha anime tropes. Kamen Rider's "Raidah henshin!" is great too. I actually don't mind "Maximize!" and "Terrorize!". TFA's Megatron's "Transform and rise up!" as well as the various Optimus's "Transform and roll out!" aren't necessarily activation calls but I like their use.
Edit:
Oh, how can I forget "Transform! Battle up! Victory Saybah!"?

Beast Machines was the logical slide into the abyss of failure from the embrace of the whole "technorganic" crap rather having robots disguised as animals.

I perfered the whole technorganic idea much more interesting than just robots with a fur and skin coats.

Yeah, and not all the designs were bad. Cheetor's robot mode was very sleek and you could tell that it built for speed, regardless of his cheetah beast mode.Cyberstrike wrote:MYoung23 wrote:Beast Machines was the logical slide into the abyss of failure from the embrace of the whole "technorganic" crap rather having robots disguised as animals.
