Nemesis Breaker & Gen Red Alert - Okay to kitbash?

Crossposting this here because I'm impatient and people seem to respond more in this section of the forums.
Basically, what the title says. I have a redundant partial Nemesis Breaker that I bought to give the forearms to my first one, and a Generations Red Alert made redundant by getting the SIEGE version. To go into more detail, I'm talking about kitbashing them into new characters rather than upgrade kitbashes; I want to turn Red Alert into Lightfooy/Getaway because the Universe Lambo mold is perfect for that, and Nemesis Breaker into an OC of some sort. Are either of these uncommon enough that I shouldn't do this?
WANT:
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

I am 90% certain that Nemesis Breaker is worth a nice bit online, but I'm not sure about Red Alert. He might be worth the exact same as Sideswipe, if he still has his weapons.

Yep, just checked. Red Alert is worth 20-25$ (15$ if used) and Breaker is worth 30$ (or 160$ if the box is included)

I seemed to remember Generations Red Alert being common and relatively cheap, about the same range as you quoted. Universe Sideswipe last I looked was rare and going for $40 or more, one of the things that made SIEGE Sideswipe appealing.

The duplicate Nemesis Breaker is a partial, no tail whip, no key, no forearms. So not worth much probably.

My worry here was less about price value and more about rarity and depleting the available pool of figures by kitbashing them into something new.

Isn't price value connected to rarity?

Anyway, I guess if Nemesis Breaker is partial, then there isn't a big demand of those, so kitbash away.

Red Alert isn't rare to my knowledge like you said, so I guess you can kit ash him as well no problem.

I just realized that swapping the heads between Universe Sideswipe and Universe Sunstreaker gives you Diaclone Sunstreaker and Tigertrack! :D

Eh, Tigertrack yes but Redstreaker not so much. It tries to fake it with the supercharger and the windshield rotation, but that mold is decidedly more the "New Countach" body.

However, that windshield rotation combined with the way the leg transformation is jointed, is part of what makes the mold such a perfect base for Lightfoot/Getaway. Probably would have happened officially if they hadn't previously done the Cybertron Hot Shot redeco (which pre-empted it because Aaron Archer was not much of a do-over kind of guy, especially when it came to the Classics stuff)

My apologies. I thought this straddled the line enough to be valid in Toys Discussion as well, but I was evidently wrong. Whoops.

Definitely echoing what others have said: Nemmy yes, Red Alert no. There will probably be a (new) generations Lightfoot soon, especially if there's a new Pointblank or Sunstreaker, but OCs obviously not.

Not sure if you're echoing there or how much, as Nathaniel Prime is the only one who weighed in :P
Generations Red Alert was honestly the one I was less worried about kitbashing, since I've seen more of him than I have Nemesis Breaker.

Regarding Lightfoot/Getaway, we recently got Titans Return Breakaway so I'm not sure how soon he'll be revisited.
