what about RG Meantime as Kronoform Deceptor?(I know technically he was labeled an autobot but the name and look is decepticon)

He's getting kind of out there for my tastes. :D

true true, he isnt really a recognized G1 guy, but I threw Energon Snowcat into my Neo G1 display as well...

I might put meantime in as well, he really is the diamond of that series and I want to display him somewhere.

I have to be careful about how and why I expand all this. In some ways, the drive to do so came from the need to pack up stuff in preperation for a move that is at least a year away.

So I saw this in the TFCC forums, and now I need to get movie Crankstart.

Topic: Anyone else hoping to see the upcoming Crankstart figure pop up in the Club Comic as Jarugar?

The mold is amazing. And the blue version, Beachcomber I believe, could be the G2 Autobot version of the Jarugar mold that did not have all the members to combine.

I just could not find a way to put the green or blue in already having a good Hound, and a passable Beachcomber, but now...

Well I found a figure you could use in your display in place of a g2 laser rod figure.
I'm not sure which one he would replace but it is hunt for decepticon hubcap.

Hey CP, I just found this thread and I must say that I love it. I was wondering if you had a file or a list you keep as a guide for what figures you are using and who they represent. I'm trying to do something similar with my display and while the photos help a bunch, there are some figures I don't know the names of. Thanks again for this awesome photo display.

Glad to be of help.

I don't keep any documentation for it aside from what I've posted here. I mean to go back and update some stuff as I now have significant additions/changes to the display. Anything you're looking for info on, feel free to ask about.

Your 86' Movie Autobots and Quints display is great. I like how you got animated Arcee to fit in with so many different figures.

For G1 Skullcruncher, I use Armada Predacon, and to simulate the need for a partner, I added a minicon purple and white... it's the minicon with the gun turret on top and happens to be a dune buggy/jeep.

It ain't perfect, but for me it fits.

Who do you guys use for Trailbreaker? I have Movie (sigh) Stockade.

I use Encore Trailbreaker. Let's be honest, even a Classics Trailbreaker'd be pretty boxy, he's just that kind of guy. Aside from being a little small, he looks pretty good with everyone.

I just saw this thread while looking for a thread to post my collection. I've done the same thing. Most my collection is Classics/Universe, with a few G1's(that I could afford) thrown in to fill in the gaps... As well as some others.

Top Shelf- Large Figures and extras
Image

Shelves One and Two- Autobots
Image
The Blue bot standing in front of Jetfire is a KO Cyb Hotshot that I turned into Tracks.

Shelves Three and Four- Decepticons
Image
Shockwave(the Radioshack-Galactic Man version) is in the top left corner but got cut off at the waist. And the day after I took this picture I got a KO Devestator that now stands behind the Classics Constructicons.

My personal feelings on the matter are...no.

Aside from being a small semi-truck, he's really got nothing else right at all.

The BotCon one is ideal if you can find/afford it. Otherwise, I'd maybe wait. We're getting a Windcharger next year. It stands to reason that they may be looking at other minibots too.

As for the Huffer question: I don't think the makes a terrible homage, but not one I'd pick if I didn't already have the G1. (Which I got my G1 at Transformerland.com for under $10 USD...same with all my G1 Minibots in fact...which reminds me that the next time I've got some spare cash I need to complete my Minibots collection...)

Personally though I look at PCC Huffer and the other PCC Commanders as Upgrades to their G1 Bodys. Which seems to kinda fit with their Bios. Sorta retcon it to say that after the Autobot city massacre they needed new bodys...ect,ect, fill in own retcon, ect... lol.

Bumping this up because it is a good guide for people setting up a similar shelf. Also if there is more to add to the shelves, Counterpunch doesn't need to make a new guide.
