Well 21-5 = 16, so it actually that sounds like they must have 2 cases lost somewhere in the store/storage areas.

Nah, you're just imagining things.

Seriously, though, I am just floored by how poorly managed Walmart is, even on a technological level. How can a business be so successful by doing everything wrong?

Seriously, though, I am just floored by how poorly managed Walmart is, even on a technological level. How can a business be so successful by doing everything wrong?

1 word: prices.

They get all their products dirt cheap, pay their employees peanuts (while stealing from them any chance they get), and sell everything just a fraction below competitors' prices, so all the sheep flock there thinking they're really getting a better deal. At Wal-Mart money makes everything acceptable and manageable for the corporate management. Everything.

Well had my first sighting of Wave 2 Voyagers today, and it was rough. 7 Primes and 0 Soundwaves. When I stop to think that each case had one each, that is a HUGE disparity, and Hasbro definitely should have thought it through better.

While I myself am not in the market for a Soundwave, I just hope everyone who wants one is able to get one without having to pay scalper prices.

2 of the Prime packages were pretty beat up, to go along with the beat up (Last) Hotlink that's been there for 4 months at least. While it appears the contents are 100% in tact, nobody is probably going to buy that, they need to just get rid of it. I've seen other Walmarts not "Clearance", but they will mark down damaged goods. A store near my work marked down some ER Grapples 25% because they came out of the box with their packaging beat up.

Well, it seems like we are getting some images to go with the rumours going around at the moment. Wave 3 of the Netflix Transformers toys is said to include some toys used as Sparkless figures. The Barricade and voyager seeker toy would be part of those. Now we have images of that Barricade figure. it uses the cybertronian mold, which is in line with what is used on the show models for Barricade. We also have a clear purple Paleotrex which is said to go with the 3rd Spoiler Pack. this pack would have a clear deluxe Paletorex go with a voyager Megatron. It would provide him a mace accessory.

Another Voyager Megatron... Just as soon as they redeem the spoiler packs with Nemesis Prime, they're going to throw another repeat character at us. What's more, Megatron has already had a figure within Netflix's line. Le sigh...

Barricade looks like he just went mudding. Like he just needs to go through the car wash and he'll be back to normal. With that head and without colors and an allegiance symbol, that could be either Smokey or Barricade.

That paintjob is certainly unique on Barricade, I actually quite like it since I'm a fan of brown as a mundane-character color. (The equivalent to a character with a nice simple "farmer" outfit, etc)

Might make for good Decepticon troop building with one normal Barricade as their Captain provided getting multiple copies of the figure is possible.

Got to say, I do like the paint effect on Barricade, makes him almost look like he's made of wood.

That clear-purple Paleotrex is really creepy looking, even more so than the normal version. What’s spoilery about it though, I wonder. Are these the skeletal remains of BW Megatron? Do BW Transformers even have bones?

I think this is just like the redeco'ed Rung and Slitherfang that came in the other sets, a neat little extra. Really the true spoiler is the text that comes in the box.

Really like Barricades paint but I really dont like the figure so it will be one less of the list to get. Wil be interesting to see the others in the the line as I got four from first series (Scrapface, Hotlink, Megatron, Mirage) and eventually two from the second (Bee and still wanting Prime. Likely Elita if she ever goes on sale which is very doubtful)

Having got the first Netflix Megatron it looks like it will be my third spoiler pack to pass on. Money saved and no complaints with alll the product that is available/coming out anyways.

All joking aside, the purple Paleotrex looks kinda neat. Barricade is nicely painted, and if I gave a slag about the Netflix series I'd probably be far more hyped. That being said though? He does look cool and I'd almost be tempted to get him and repurpose him as a new character.

Also there is something darkly ironic about the totally-not-a-Datsun toy getting a rusty, beat-up redeco considering how badly the poor old Datsuns tend to suffer from corrosion.

For me, yes. I know a lot of folks on here have other Megatron figures they like more but for someone whose collection is all recent releases, heck yeah I'd like another of that mold. I'll take some more Energon cubes too, thank you very much.

Just thought of this: if the rumors turn out to be true, in the WFC line, we will get:

Core class Megatron
Siege voyager
Netflix voyager
35th anniversary voyager
Selects G2 (all 4 same mold)
Earthrise Megs

Selects SG
Netflix spoiler (all 4 same mold)

Considering the Siege voyager was shelf warming, and then so did the 35th anniversary one, is this really a good strategy?

Only if it were a version with no battle damage paint apps and included all the details to G1 Megatron that the Earthrise release was missing. I'm not at all expecting that, though, and predict this will be a massively battle damaged version, if not a "corpse" like Netflix Spoiler Pack 1 Ultra Magnus.
