Does anyone know if that plug is removable or not?

I just pre-ordered one. WTH. We may never see mass release of him in the states. Considering the story I read about what aussies had to go through to have an MP Megs in hand, ordering one here is smooth and (almost) painless.

You know that bar that attaches to the bottom of his handle? The one that's a removable part of the Megatron gun that MP-01 comes with? They should've included that in the design of the gun, and used it to add some mass to his legs in robot form.

If you check the Justitoys MP-05 Perfect Edition pieces you will see that it comes with an extra piece for each leg that replaces a piece of the original MP-05. This piece is set up with much more extra weight to give the figure a better heavy feel.

Does anyone who already owns this figure know if the plug is glued? The pictures that BBTS show, make the plug look very removable!

I shouldn't have said "mass". I meant size, not weight.

I ordered my MP-05 from BBTS the first time around... The plug is out on mine, with a little bit of glue residue on the inside of the barrel...

It sounds like a bit much, but I warmed Meg's barrel with a hair dryer for a few minutes, pulled out a pocket knife, pried on the plug a little where it met the barrel, popped it out a tiny bit, grabbed onto the plug with my pliers, and popped the plug out easily after that... Now, I probably went about that the hard way, as I've (since) read that other people had a much easier time taking their's out... a hair dryer & pliers will probably work easily enough!

But, YES! the BBTS plug is removable...

hypothetically, what happens when you pre-order on BBTS? is it charged when you initially order or when it ships?

By the time I'd buy the silencer and stock kit, it'd be well over $150.00 (shipping and whatnot)

Then I'd have to go and rebuy 20th. Optimus (which I'm planning on anyway, one store has him on clearance for $50.00 (DVD version) and I figure I might as well get one before I finally run out of chances.)

when this was posted earlier i found out that when you pre-order you dont get charged until the item is shipped...SO I ORDER MYSELF ONE! I cant wait. talk about a great X-mas gift to myself. ive been drolling over this figure since the fisrt time i saw it. and now that i have the chance to get it. i couldnt resist

I caved.

I knew it, I finally just said "Screw it, it's a Christmas present" and looked at my BBTS account. I have a $5.53 credit on there that I completely forgot. So yeah, it was a no-brainer for me.

...I still can't believe I caved. Now I have to find a way to buy the silencer/stock kit.
