Even though these are ugly repaints, I still might get both of them. I could always use more Binaltechs. Maybe just Arcee. I can't stand that lime green prime!

if they really wanted to restart the BT/Alt line, they could just re-release some of the most sought-after characters: Mirage, Shockwave, Wheeljack... but these are terrible, and will just nail the coffin shut.

that said, I'm going with 'digibash prank.' although, the Scion would look good in that green...

Yeah, I saw that too, though it still could prove incorrect. BBTS has information that the colored image of BT-22 is not the final color - only prototype. It would be nice if Takara would make BT-22 into hoist and give him a new head.

FantoFan is indicating that the figures will be released July 17, 2008.

It's either got to be a new character or a different color from the prototype. Takara has got to be out of their mind if they are planning to release a green Optimus Prime.

I looked at the article hoping to find a great new Binaltech and one of the few female transformer toys. Instead, it looks like a gay Megatron; just look at the head! I thought the green Prime could be Moonracer, but the color hurt my eyes after a second. It does look photoshopped, at least the green one. If they want to do any female Binaltechs, or any more at all, please let them be good.

1. It's already been said - Convoy is NOT going to be green.
2. It's not and never was Megatron's head - it WAS Windcharger's.

Some of you should go back some time and read old threads. I do, and it's amusing to see the knee-jerk reactions over pre-release images, everybody jumping to conclusions and deciding what it all means, and it being entirely non-controversial afterwards when the facts are actually known and full, final, official images are released. Binaltech, Alternators, Masterpiece, Classics, Movie, Animated... the list goes on, but the original threads are long forgotten by the time official word comes out.

I mean, neither of the Convoy pics match each other, or any existing deco, they have PROTOTYPE stamped across them, the later corrected translations (it's not "Tiger Convoy") have been ignored, and everyone's still going on about this green thing.

Having said that, I would love a green Convoy. It's not actually happening, but Toxitron would be cool.

Hopefully, there will be new molds but it will be tough for Takara and Hasbro (if they put out Alterators again). As of right now, I do not mind the new Bluestreak, silver Jazz, and the Acree but as for the new Convoy, I am not too sure about.

Yeah, I eHobby had a similiar listing on their website today. It also had information that seems to indicate that Convoy will be similar to Kiss Players Convoy.
