TIDAL WAVE
Allegiance: Decepticons
Function: Heavy weapon specialist, warrior
Alt. mode: Nuclear attack sub

Special Abilities: navigation disruptor, robot mode underwater performance, sonar

Profile: Tidal wave is a warrior, and he does it well. He looks down on most Autobots and several Decepticons figuratively, and everyone literally. He relies on his strength and firepower to fight his battles, particularly his firepower.
Abilities: The main ability he has is obvious: His size. This is not his only asset, however. He can easily scramble human navigation, and some cybertronians can fall victim to its consequences. His sonar can detect incoming enemies, especially in the water. He takes to the water like a seeker takes to the air, able to swim with ease.
His top speed is 145 mph, and he can travel 900 miles before running out of fuel, a sufficient distance to get him across the ocean.
Weaknesses: His size, while giving him several advantages, also makes him slow on land, drastically decreasing his maneuverability. He is also not the best melee fighter, but do not underestimate him. He deals powerful blows, it's just he's not good at actually getting them to hit, or any other melee techniques.
Sample post:
Arrival
US WEST COAST NEAR MT. ST. HELENS
0200 HOURS(2:00 AM)
While all the humans slept, a light appeared in the sky. A large fireball fell into the ocean, alerting a nearby night watchman, who looked up from his midnight snack at the sound. He ran out of the booth, and looked around. The only trace of the fireball was a sudden increase in waves, and a cloud of steam.
Tidal Wave burst out of the escape pod, and swam up to the surface. He scanned the area with sonar, and, finding no apparent life forms except in a small booth, he drifted through the water, in search of a new form. The military harbor had mostly stealth submarines, but he finally found something perfect. A powerful attack sub. Tidal Wave scanned it, and transformed. By the time the watchman came to investigate the noise, the robot was gone.

Wheeljack
Allegiance: Autobot
Function: Mechanical Engineer
Alternate Mode: Mini-van
Weapons: Shoulder-Mounted Shell Launchers
Height: 26ft / 7.92m
Quote: “Never do what your enemy expects you to do.”
Strength: 7
Intelligence: 9
Dexterity: 7
Speed: 7
Endurance: 5
Courage: 9
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 8
Melee: 6
Tech Skill: 10
Charisma: 8
Rank: 8
Appearance: In vehicle mode, Wheeljack is, ironically, a minivan. His windows are tinted, opaque from the outside, and the car is mainly white. Accents of dark red and green highlight his vehicle. The maneuverability of his vehicle mode is surprising, capable of spot-on cornering. In robot mode, Wheeljack stands tall and proud. Two vocalizer plates straddle his mouthpiece and pulsate with a warm blue glow whenever he speaks. His vocalizer plates perhaps stand out as his most noticeable detail. When in battle, his shell-launchers are mounted on his shoulders and allow for maximum attack ability.
Profile: “That guy can build a neutron bomb out of a wristwatch and a rusty can,” says Bluestreak, and that's not far from the truth. As well as the Ark fashioned the Autobots, Wheeljack is always coming up with ways to improve them, particularly their weaponry. His knack for creating wild new gadgets has earned him a "mad scientist" reputation and their deadly effectiveness has earned him the respect of friends and enemies alike. He is also the Autobot most adept at driving while in his automobile mode and has pulled off tricks that Earth's Hollywood stunt drivers haven't even dreamed of yet, despite the minivan's reputation for being stupid. He fully enjoys showing off when the opportunity presents itself.
Abilities: In addition to those mentioned above, Wheeljack, while in robot mode, can use the solid-fuel rockets in his arms to fly at speeds of 320 mph with a range of 800 miles. His shoulder-mounted cannons shoot a variety of shells: a magnetic-inducer shell, which douses its victims in a magnetic dust that attracts ferrous objects from distances up to 4000 feet away that adhere to and eventually disable the victim; a shrapnel-needle shell, which explodes into millions of hair-thin filaments that can pierce even the strongest armor and disrupt internal circuitry; and a gyro-inhibitor shell, which implants itself upon impact and destroys the balance of its victims. Wheeljack is continually adding new gimmicks to his shells.
Weaknesses: Wheeljack is his own worst enemy. He frequently injures himself while experimenting with new weapons.
I changed it a bit to fit the fact that this rpg takes place entirely on earth.

Profile: Windcharger is the fastest Autobot of them all- for short distances. In his sleek automobile form, he can go from 0 to 60 mph in less then a second with a top speed of 250 mph with a range of 300 miles. This makes him useful in certain situations requiring very fast, very decisive action. His personality is similar: what Windcharger decides he decides immediately. He glances at something and moves, seldom bothering to ask questions. This may be because his attention span isn't particularly long. He becomes instantly enthusiastic and a few hours later loses interest. His impatience often diminishes his usefulness in lengthy, complex courses of action. This frustrates Windcharger, as he wishes he could be more involved to fulfill his role as warrior. His quickness in action is a reflection of his desire to prove his valor, not only to his fellow Autobots, but to himself.
Abilities: In robot mode, Windcharger's arms act as the positive and negative poles of a magnet. He can cast powerful magnetic fields at distances up to 700 feet. He can levitate a 10-ton block of steel at that distance. He can attract objects that are affected by magnetism toward him or repel them. At closer distances he can rip them apart. His blaster rifle and laser pistol are standard armaments that Windcharger is not overly fond of wielding, but he cannot afford the power drain of more powerful armaments.
Windcharger’s avatar is of a mid-20’s Caucasian male wearing sunglasses, jeans, and a polo shirt and sports dark swept back hair.
Weaknesses: If overused, his magnetic ability uses up tremendous amounts of power. Hence, he must be careful in using it. Unfortunately, Windcharger is seldom careful and so is prone to debilitating burn-outs. Because of his avaricious use of fuel his range is limited, thus he can sometimes be stranded if he does not closely monitor consumption.
Sample Post:
On a routine patrol on Earth, Windcharger speeds along the highways and byways. Secretly hoping for some Decepticons to wander haplessly by, thoughts of combat fire up his diodes sparking memories of past battles on Cybertron. His vivid imagination recalls the image of Brawn falling to his knees under the barrage of fire from Skywarp.
The feeling of fear for his friend and rage at his enemy flooded back, as Windcharger recalls the brash but ultimately successful counter attack that saved his friend that day. Never would Windcharger forget that feeling of absolute dominion over everything happening around him. The pieces seemed to fall into place so naturally. All that he had to do was quickly transform and launch himself toward Brawn. As he sped forward, Windcharger remembers how time seemed to slow down and wait for him to act.
That collision with Brawn had gotten him out of Skywarps path, but left him in a very dangerous situation. Windcharger transformed back to robot form to meet the rush of Skywarp. As Skywarp swooped low at the end of his strafing run, he raised his hands as if to ward Skywarp away. Windcharger felt the magnetic field form and begin to push the Decepticon away. However, when Skywarp sensed this he teleported away to begin another strafe run on his lightly armoured foe. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Windcharger stood his ground to make sure Brawn was still intact. Without really thinking, he used his already formed magnetic field to pick up a large chunk of metallic debris that was nearby to shield himself and Brawn.
Remembering how glad he had been for a moments reprieve, Windcharger chuckled to himself. Brawn had looked at him and said, “For Primus’ sake! Get out of here! I’ll handle it!” Windchargers reply was a simple question, “Can you get me up there?” With a knowing nod Brawn moved behind his friend waiting for Skywarp to swoop low again.
As Skywarp finished his strafe run, Brawn gave a mighty heave that sent Windcharger shooting into the sky. Using his waning magnetic field, Windcharger guided himself onto the back of the streaking Skywarp. Using his laser pistol, he fired a few strategic shots to finish of Skywarp. Launching himself back into the sky, Windcharger used his remaining energy to use his magnetic field as a repulsor to slow his fall back to the ground.
Falling in a heap on the ground, Windcharger had looked up weakly to see his friend running over. “You dang fool,” Brawn said, “That was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.” Windcharger tried to say “You’re welcome,” but couldn’t manage to bring up the energy. The next thing he had remembered was waking to the probing of Ratchet’s welding torch.
As Windcharger recalled Ratchet telling him what a brave thing he’d done, a red light went of stirring him from his reverie. It was his low fuel indicator. “Aww! For Cybertron’s sake!” exclaimed Windcharger. According to his calculations he had 50 miles worth of fuel left and he was approximately 250 miles from headquarters.
“Windcharger to Autobot headquarters,” he said as he opened a communications channel. “Please send a recovery team.” A garbled response came over the communicator. “Yes, I ran out of fuel again. No, there are no Decepticons.”

Profile: Brawn is the most macho of the Autobots and yearns for a hostile environment for him to thrive in. He delights in challenges and when he faces one he becomes fully alive. He is strong, rugged and very agile, which is why he is frequently teamed with Bumblebee when the Autobots are in a mountainous environment, but it is his enjoyment of the challenge that makes him valuable to his leader, Optimus Prime. He won't be discouraged and that helps the morale of the rest. He is hardy and enjoys a good joke, if it is not too subtle. His main fault is that he tends to be contemptuous of those not as tough as he. Brawn tends to judge others by their actions rather than their intentions. He is wary of those who don’t speak their mind or aren’t up front with him, which is at the root of his dislike of the Decepticons.
Abilities: Brawn is one of the strongest Autobots. He can lift up to 190,000 Ibs. and can knock down a small building with one punch. His endurance and resistance to artillery fire are among the highest of the Autobots. Lacking in the speed department, he is able to reach a top speed of 75 mph and is able to maintain his top speed up to his full range of 1000 miles. Never one to enjoy training in marksmanship, Brawn only arms himself with a laser pistol but relies mainly on his great strength to protect him.
Brawn’s avatar appears as a stocky built Caucasian male in his mid-40’s. His face is darkly tanned and well wrinkled as though he’d spent much time out doors. The burly fellow with sun-bleached hair sports a handlebar mustache and wears work jeans and an old flannel shirt. He seems the type that doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.
Weaknesses: As the Autobot with perhaps the least sophisticated circuitry, most of his components focus on his strength; Brawn is very vulnerable to attack by electromagnetic and other types of waves. His eagerness to show off his strength often results in his using it improperly and without thinking. He's been known to destroy an entire building before realizing it's the wrong one.
Sample Post:
An Abandoned Warehouse
Surveying the job at hand, Brawn cracked his knuckles loosening the servo motors. “This looks like a big job. Perfect for me,” he said to no one in particular because he was all the way out here on his own. The task had fallen to him to bring down this old energon storage facility so that the other Autobots could recover the material to put towards the war effort. Not that Brawn minded being in combat alongside his friends, but it was nice to get back to some real work for a change. At least this building wouldn’t move when he got his strong hands on a girder or two.
Blasted spawn of Unicron! Brawn thought to himself. Those Deceptibums never stand and fight ‘bot to ‘con. Always running this way and that, and they have the gall to call us cowards. If I ever get my hands on them, I’ll show them what for. And, we can use them for spare parts instead of having to knock down old buildings.
Heading inside the warehouse, Brawn proceeded to survey recyclable materials that might be useful. Bending over, he picked up a 10 ft steel girder that had fallen in the doorway to wield as a bludgeon. With a mighty heave he swung the girder and ripped down a 30x30 ft section of the wall to reveal delicate fiber optic cable running floor to ceiling. He dropped the girder and grabbed hold of the loose cable. Pulling with all his might, the cable mountings broke free allowing him to pull massive amounts of the stuff out onto the floor. He coiled the cable and carried it outside with little difficulty despite the fact that the pile of cable was taller than him.
Brawn dutifully continued his meticulous, yet destructive, approach to manhandling any useful materials into the neat piles outside. Luckily, He wasn’t the one who had to haul all the stuff away. Happily smiling away, he prepared for his favorite part of the job – bringing the rest of the building down. He was glad that he was alone for this part; otherwise he might have to be careful. Running back inside, he started punching out all the support pillars. The building began to shake and sway. Laughing at himself, he ran through the building dodging debris as it fell from above. Many of his friends had assumed he wasn’t very agile because of his slow alt form. He relished the chance to have a good work out.
Looking about quickly, Brawn tried to spot his exit. To his left he spied a hole in the wall big enough for him to get out. Legs pumping he ran with all his might to escape the deafening roar of the collapsing building. Even though he was at a full sprint, he could not make it out before a section of flooring fell to cover his exit. His thoughts drifted to his friends. He wasn’t thinking about whether he would see them again. He was wondering what they would say when he told them how he escaped what might mean permanent stasis lock to many Autobots. He redoubled his effort running toward the wall, and at the last second he dropped his shoulder into the section of flooring blocking his escape. With a great yell he plunged through the layers of steel flooring emerging intact and safe on the other side.
Getting back to his feet, Brawn brushed off the rust dust and admired his new paint scratches. Turning back to the settling rubble of the warehouse, he admired his handiwork. “Not bad for half a Mega-Cycle’s work,” he confidently proclaimed. Opening a communications channel to Autobot headquarters, he informed the rest of the Autobots on the completion of his appointed task. Taking one last look at the twisted metal figure he said, “I’m coming back to base, and I have a great story to tell you.”

Profile: Punch is as cool-headed and well-adjusted as you will ever meet, although aloof and detached to a certain degree. However, the fact remains that he is, if anything, more observant and wary than many would suspect. Paranoid he may be that there may be traitors in the midst of the Autobots, but it's nowhere near Red Alert's levels of paranoia. He knows all too well just how much he has to lose by taking too many risks -- and the fact that he's willing to do it anyway is a testimony to his confidence in the rightness of his actions, his courage in the face of adversity, and his dedication and resolve to the Autobot cause.
As Counterpunch, on the other hand, he is ruthless, volatile and bad-tempered. An act, of course, but one that Counterpunch has proven capable of portraying quite well. There is a growing confidence in his 'act' as Counterpunch, because of the knowledge that he has been able to retain his Autobot sensibilities in the face of his constant exposure to the Decepticon camp. Still, however, there is the fear lurking in the back of his shared mind of the Counterpunch persona taking over and betraying the Autobots. That, however, is remedied by a personality shell-matrix that helps to ensure that there is enough difference between the Punch and Counterpunch personas to avoid some of the more dangerous pitfalls that could lead to his discovery and execution by the Decepticons.
Abilities: Punch / Counterpunch has slightly above average strength and great intelligence -- a skilled spy and infiltrator, as well as a capable actor and a canny judge of character. His ability to make rapid situational analyses is impressive, as is his knowledge of security and undercover tactics. As a Cybertronian hovercar, Punch / Counterpunch is capable of attaining velocities as high as 160 mph with a range of 1,200 miles. In Autobot mode, Punch utilizes a twin mortar launcher with a range of 9,000 feet; in Decepticon mode, Counterpunch wields a photon cannon designed to destroy the target's circuitry, tearing them apart internally. The Decepticon mode also affords Counterpunch with a personality shell-matrix which helps to dissociate the persona (including neural circuitry activity and thought patterns) from the Autobot mode and the Punch persona.
Weaknesses: The fear of the Counterpunch persona becoming too comfortable as a Decepticon spy and winding up taking full control of the shared body with the Punch persona is a very real possibility that Punch must always take into account. The personality shell-matrix helps to mitigate that somewhat, but deep down, Punch still remains concerned that the Counterpunch persona may find a way to circumvent the personality shell-matrix (or worse, the personality shell-matrix be damaged and rendered inoperable for any appreciable length of time), and thereby allow Counterpunch to wrest full control of their shared mind, in turn sowing untold chaos and disaster for the Autobots.

Profile: Valiant, courageous, powerful beyond measure, Fortress Maximus is a warrior without compare, but one whose most fervent wish is never to have to fight again. All his early life, Fortress Maximus trained as an architect, becoming the creator of many of Cybertron's proudest monuments. With his ability to transform into vast construction bases, many of his creations were crafted by his own hand. So Fortress Maximus learned to build, not destroy. When war came, he did not hesitate to turn his gifts to the ways of combat, adapting one construction base into a repair bay, the other into a battle station. But as the war spread and he saw his constructions tumble and fall with countless lives lost in the process, he began to see how pointless and counter-productive battle was. He began to fight with only one aim in mind- to bring an end to the senseless conflict. He would fight, but only out of necessity, only to save other lives.
Without the need to lead the Autobots due to Optimus Prime never leaving Cybertron, Fortress Maximus's resolve has remained unchanged, though his advancement in the Autobot hierarchy has been slowed as a result of the unchanging situation. He has proved himself among the Autobot's greatest Captains, and recently lead many key assaults that have allowed the Autobots to reach the position of being poised to finally defeat the Decepticons. As a Commander, he leads the forces under his command in the hopes of finally bring an end to the conflict..
Personality: Fortress Maximus is an optimistic, compasionate leader whose longing for peace is held in check by tremendous force of will, as rash actions will never allow success. Not one for rushing into things, he puts himself across as a careful negotiator and mediator, taking the time to think things through as well as talk to all of those under his command. Few have cause to grumble under his even-handed, democratic leadership style. But underneath it all, there is a growing dispair and desperate hope. As the Autobots are in such a position of strength they may not have such a chance in a thousand vorns.
Abilities: In both robot and battle station mode, Fortress Maximus is a walking armory. Retractable pulse cannons (emitting a strong ion beam capable of disrupting and incapacitating internal circuits), twin automatic machine gun batteries (wrist mounted in robot mode), twin laser-guided mortars (in lower legs, robot mode), dual laser blasters (with a heat-seeking target lock system) and a fusion-powered photon rifle make his firepower second to none. His battle station is fully equipped with communication, detection and radar equipment, while his repair bay has extensive re-fit facilities for almost any Transformer and a wide range of spare parts. From either repair bay or battle station Fortress Maximus can operate two remote controlled vehicles, Gasket and Grommet, using them to supply instant battleground first aid/repairs or as offensive/defensive combat units. When in robot mode, Gasket and Grommet combine to form the radio controlled warrior/mechanic, Cog. Despite his size, Fortress Maximus is both very strong and very fast. Though seemingly awkward, his bulky configuration moves with well oiled ease. His greatest asset, though, is his vast intellect and capacity for instant tactical decisions. To him, crafting an attack is like blueprinting a structure and it's almost second nature.
Weaknesses: The many parts of Fortress Maximus, each requiring a portion of his concentration, sometimes leave the whole vulnerable to attack. When guiding Gasket and Grommet through a battlefield, he relies almost totally on automated defense systems to safeguard him from attack. If incapacitated in robot mode, Fortress Maximus has no choice but to utilize his second robot form, the much smaller and, infinitely more vulnerable Cog. Beyond these slight problems, Fortress Maximus has no known weaknesses.
