this IS the Shout set, i mean you can cleary see their name on the spine there. but also, Vivendi is a distributor for their stuff in certain places.
so this is for those who didnt buy the Matrix box set, you get all the same content in a nice, compact shelf saving box.

Bouncy X is correct. If you look at Vivendi's catalog, all I see is Shout! Factory's releases. But I already have my MoL box set and pre-ordered all the upcoming TF releases from Shout!, so I'm good.
I just have to say that Shout! has been the company that's been getting me back over and over. From Jayce, to G1, to M.A.S.K., no other company has done such an awesome job with the 80's (and beyond) licenses. I can't wait to see what they do if they get a hold of TF The Movie.

Does this set have the voice actor reunion extra in the set or was that just a exclusive for the 'Matrix box'. Want to see it, thought the one on the GI JOE set was great. Want to buy Shout g1 set.

Imagine taking the DVDs from the season 1 set, both the season 2 sets, and the seasons 3 & 4 set; put those 13 discs together and you got this set.
The Matrix set has three more discs of bonus content that this set does not have.
It's basically Shout! Factory trying one more time to cash in on its G1 DVDs.
